PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- An 18-year-old single father whose struggle raising his toddler daughter was featured in People magazine has been killed in Philadelphia.
Terrell Pough was shot in the head on his way home from work Thursday night and later died at Temple University Hospital, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Police said they have no suspects but do have a possible lead. No further details of the slaying were released.
The August issue of People profiled Pough, who worked as the night manger at a local restaurant while attending school full-time and raising his daughter, Diamond, who will be 2 on Nov. 27.
"She's what I work for, what I live for, why I wake up," he told People. "She's everything."
Diamond, who had full-custody of his daughter, had planned to work in construction after graduating next June.
"If something ever happens to me, no one can ever tell her that her dad didn't take care of her," he told People.
The really ironic thing is if this poor boy was on life support, she'd be posting about what a great father he was and how much his daughter will miss having a father.
Instead, because he's dead, for the last two days she's been posting smarmy posts about how she "hopes she will now have a TWO PARENT household" so somebody will love her.
Well, at the very least, I'd think the lesson from this thread is 'taking cheap potshots at victims of crime who are likely to be fairly sympathetic characters is a good way to spend a good 24 hours getting flamed... and ~might~ be considered a bad idea.'
You are nothing but a liar and a bully. There is little that is worse than being a liar.
I notice you have no problem saying something to me but you are to afraid to call out Howlin on her lies.
You don't care what anyone thinks, yet, here you are again posting the same tirade over and over and over and over and over.
Being you looks pretty bad right now, IMO.
I really have not read this thread, so I don't know what you're talking about and don't care. I'm just passing through. If you think it's energy well spent, then I'm happy for ya.
And I'm not afraid to call out Howlin on anything, in fact, I was about to tell her that her 481 was spot on :~D
You mean if he was taken OFF life support.
Takes a small person to bash a guy that was doing the right thing after making a mistake. Thankfully, there are only a handful of these creeps here on FR. They stick out like a sore thumb.
It's pretty much a waste of our valuable time.
I can't believe I've responded as much as I have; I just hate seeing people make FR look like a bunch of fools by trashing a young man who was trying to do the best he could with his life. I thought that was what conservatives were all about.
My family will be here shortly, so I think I'll "quit" while I'm still in a pretty good mood!
It's kind of like beating your head against a wall anyway.
YDH, why can't you just be quiet? You make the whole forum look bad.
Oh, you're right. My mistake.
And, of course, this isn't the first time we've run into this poster trashing the victim.
Have a Nice Day :~D
LOL.....I will after reading that. :-)
Have a blessed Thanksgiving gals.
And that goes for EVERYONE on this thread, regardless.
And also you :~D
Howlin is a liar, it has been proven.
Case closed.
Happy Thanksgiving.
The facts are there for all to read.
Case closed.
strawberries..........
Praising this guy is the same thing. Why are you afraid to say what he and his girlfriend did was a sin? Or maybe you don't think it's a sin.
Praising this guy for his turning his life around. Not one person here praised his sex life.
This is what we do when we see a lost sheep become "found". We celebrate his return. Something you obviously know nothing about as you are stuck on sin.
You see, there's this dude named Jesus............
