Previous Natalee Holloway Threads

Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. The draining was expected to take up to 24 hours. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)

Because someone needs to say it: Natalee's dead. She disappeared while on an island. Why do you think they have yet to find the body, and quite possibly never will? You do the math.

How are you so sure she's dead?

I'm pretty darned good at math, but I need somebody to "do the math" for me if it's some kind of new-fangled new math. Could you please explain?

And if it's statistics you're talking about, well, statistics would've had Elizabeth Smart dead, too.

And there's a big difference between a mother (lion) and a wife. (IMO)

And they've got their mothers manipulated as well into thinking how sweet and innocent all of them are.

" I am sorry you are offended by the truth."

What truth? You have evidence her body was dumped at sea. There are a lot of us who would like to see that evidence.

" Use a little common sense."

What do you think we've been doing here for the last 60 days? The facts as they have been painstakingly established here over 10 threads now would indicate that her body is still on the island. Read the first 9 threads before before you come on here with an attitude.

The way they know that N never returned to her room was probably the hotels video cameras.

BTW, thanx for the kudos on thread 9!

t's still unfortunate to not have an X to completely ignore certain posters who continue to try to disrupt a thread. Not talking about an idle poster who isn't paying attention of course, I mean people like ..well like you.

How am I "disrupting" ? Please explain your definition of "disrupting a thread" and show how I have done that. With quotes, please.

And as for your 'X,' why not use a little self-discipline and simply scroll past posts you don't like?

This is a "prime time" case and the investigative journalism is released then. The rest of the day is pretty much a repeat of the night before, it seems.

Why, yes of course everyone is entitled to their opinions. And when someone disagrees they should be able to respond in kind. That means everyone, GS, not just the ones who diagree in the minority opinion group. If someone visits a thread and posts opinions that are in the minority for that thread they are going to get responses the may not be as nice as they had hoped for.

And, by the way, I have a very difficult time culling any wisdom from someone who describes one of their children as a "chick-magnet" while describing their other children as "pasty white, slightly nerdy kids". And the problem with our children is ... hmmm.

Certainly. Here is a girl who was on an island. She disappeared while on said island.

They seemed to have located the people responsible for her disappearance, and they have located things that suggest she met with foul play.

And, again, she was on an island. Exactly how many places can you hide someone on an island? Certainly not in a pond.

Is that simple enough for you?

"Use a little common sense."

LOL. Some of us (myself included) may need to take that advice from time to time...but TexKat...nope. Sorry, dude, but you are giving that advice to the wrong person. TK has more common sense than you can imagine.

Perhaps that door was locked from the inside, and that is how they know it wasn't tampered with? Then, if Natalee had come in that way (and locked the door), she would have exited by a way that would have been monitored by a camera? Or if it was locked before she and the roommate went out, then she definitely couldn't get in . . .

All conjecture. We shall see . . .

Thanks for the nice words re: my posts. Perhaps I have more patience than most, but I don't mind at all volleying statements that don't appear to be in sync with the group vibe. Nothing gained by getting upset; just don't take it personally.

Found this at SM:

"Just seen Fox now and Tims seems to be holding back. Pathologist said this bottom layer is like quicksand and a shoe if in this will be sucked down as will a weighted body. He says although the pond, which seems large to me is shallow the sediment is where a body could be. He states it would be preserved in such sediment. I know they are being in body language changed and it seems they anticipate her being their, or already know. When moving water you do not want to disturb sediments so the pumping is slower and sieved. That is why it is taking so long. What is below the water will become apparent with the specialist equipment as sonar that Tim said he will use. I would think it were far from the road and nearer to the ocean as near a bush for cover from the road.

Waiting is the worst part. Am busy trying to pin down a missing pregnant mother and fbi have taken up the tip of dissociation in the message of missing Pennsylvania mums ex boyfriend. They are now, his ex girlfriend and he being interogated."

"Nancy Grace has said that the perps return to the crime scene as if drawn by a magnet. Sometimes over and over. The witness who saw the three may well be the "hero" in this case."

A hero or a planted witness? I think that there are many more people involved in this girl's disappearance. If they have found her body, I find it interesting that it would be in a place where the high salt content could explain any unusual preservation of the remains that might otherwise lead one to conclude that she was not killed on the night in question, but later. (now removing tinfoil hat)
