Perhaps that door was locked from the inside, and that is how they know it wasn't tampered with? Then, if Natalee had come in that way (and locked the door), she would have exited by a way that would have been monitored by a camera? Or if it was locked before she and the roommate went out, then she definitely couldn't get in . . .

All conjecture. We shall see . . .

There are numerous reasons to conclude Natalee never returned to her room.

When I said she would have been seen by cameras, that is because it was what I had read as to the layout of her room in the hotel.

Even if mistaken, look at the other reasons.

Her room had everything packed and ready to go. All totally orderly and all in its place. According to her Mother. It had not been touched or disturbed, by appearance. How could Natalee go there, yet there be no sign whatsoever that anything was touched or disturbed?

I totally disagree with the statement (not made by you) that somehow we could understand Natalee's case if only we could fill in a missing piece by concluding she went back to her room. To me that would add absolutely nothing.

Also, please remember the very narrow timeline. There was so little time for something bad to happen to Natalee and for the perps to do something with her. To add that she also went to her room, well, it does not fit.

The burden is on those who keep suggesting this to come across with something.

Why would she go there, and with the three boys having been with her, by implication they, too, would have gone there, and yet not a sign of anything having happened in the room except she was neatly packed and ready to leave?

Oh, and there is this: Beth was convinced that Natalee had been at the Van der Sloot home that night she went missing. She remains convinced of that to this day. I know she knows things that she cannot yet divulge. And no one is more convinced than Beth that Natalee did not make it to the room. I trust her.

Aside from her other reasons for concluding this, I think the timeline is also crucial to her belief. If Natalee were at some point at the Van der Sloot home, that would give even LESS time for her to have made a trip to her hotel room for...who knows what reason on earth?!?!?

I'm sorry, I won't go down a road to nowhere. I have said all I know to say about it.
