I have not heard or read any other news outlet reporting that a body has been found. Not even on the Aruban forums that I have checked.

I would guess it is because of the way some people blame them,talk bad about them , dig up their pasts , etc.. kind of like some have done to natalee and her mother.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jossy had that nephew arrested just so he could get the inside scoop!

The PI reported vanderstraaten worked for vds. The friendship has been posted about from the beginning. Don't remember where it started. I know the Twittys didn't (don't) trust either one of them. Greta is a lawyer not a PI. I'll take the PI's word.
VDS is not the judge. He was the chief of police. Greta made a point of saying last night that it was VDS who arrested PVDS and the judge who let him out of prison. Not VDS. Greta believed that VDS sounded as though he were really interested in solving the case.
(ORANJESTAD, Aruba) - The search of a pond in Aruba for evidence in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway will continue another day; it's taking longer than expected to drain.
Searchers hope by early Friday to have a clearer view of the bottom.
Authorities aren't saying exactly what they're looking for, but confirm it's related to the Alabama teenager who went missing May 30th while on a high school graduation trip.
A lawyer for Holloway's family says the search was prompted by a witness who'd reported last week that on the night of the disappearance he'd seen three young men near the pond – including one detained in the case.
A lot of GPR and GPS equipment and components come in that color. It looks like he has a smaller orange box in his hand. I'm sure they will mark everything questionable in the pond using GPS.
Thanks, I couldn't recall where I had heard that about Van der Stratten working for PVDS in the 90's. That was news to me when I heard it. I did know about PVDS and Van der Stratten being friends and Van der Stratten being a godparent to Joran or one of the VDS children.
I'm curious as to why Greta does not know this.
Isn't VDS the Godfather of Joran? If that's true, I think he must at least KNOW PVDS.
Is it just me or are the networks (CNN, MSNBC, and FOX) being awfully quiet today?
I'm working from home today, and I have yet to hear one story on this case.
Our local NBC affiliate just showed the field/pond draining underway and it looked to me like there's still a massive amount of water to drain. Natalee is a Clinton, MS native, so her case gets daily coverage. I am grateful for the coverage since my Direct TV will not be installed until Wednesday.
Same news report said that the Texas team is heading back to Aruba.
The three suspects do not agree with the fact that the FBI looks into the file.
Innocent people would welcome the FBI in order to vindicate themselves. Obviously these three punks have something to hide (like a body).

The judge was mentioned when I asked who was in the pic with PVDS that was posted earlier on this thread. A guess was made that it was the judge.
I watched FOX all morning and afternoon yesterday and there wasn't a peep about NH. Seems they make sure we tune in at night for any news.
I've heard that and I've heard it isn't true, so I don't know. The PI apparently discovered that at one time, PVDS had worked for VDS (or was it the other way around?). Yes, I think that they knew each other; perhaps well. But Greta was clarifying that it was not VDS who let PVDS out of jail; he was the one who put him in.
