How do I search through the thread? I wanted to see what people have written about J's and the color blue. One of the other posts mentioned his blue shirts but I didn't understand the translation and don't remember where the post was.

Can't help you with the search, but in the gang world, blue is the color of the Crips and red is the color of the Bloods. Joran always wears blue, and he's seen making gang hand signals in many of his photos from websites.
He may be a wannabe, or he may actually be a dealer for one of the gangs on the island.

I recall and also commented on his shirts. They were usually checkered or plaid and blue and white. Short sleeve cotton, button up the front.

I didn't find it too unusual. Lots of guys prefer blue.
