Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway went missing May 30 during a senior trip to Aruba.

I hope they have some new information.
How did she "know" there was a kidnapping??
Could very well be. In which case, IF the brothers were still around, they may have gone home and left Sloot's sorry butt where he was.
"I am about sick of hearing how Natalie "willingly" left off with these despicable creatures.
I could just scream when I see things like that."
The true response to the statement of her "going willingly" is that she thought she was getting into a taxi with J to go back to her hotel. J and the K brothers DID NOT take her back to her hotel!
I agree and wonder if she'll share specific details in the rest of her interview with Greta tonight.
I'm playing catch-up on the thread this morning and maybe someone has already thought of this, but if Jug gave Natalee a new pack of 100 one dollar bills, might the bank have a record of the serial numbers? Just wondering if the FBI has those numbers and maybe some were in Joran's possession or found at the VDS house?
Taxis have lit lights on top of the car and special plates.
"Taxis have lit lights on top of the car and special plates"
I read previously that they have special plates, but nothing about "lit lights on top". Even Natalee's friends said "Natalee got into a taxi with J".
I think she used the word 'kidnapping' because had she said 'missing', there may not have been the same amount of effort put into looking for Natalee.
Being 18 and an adult, even the police in the US don't consider someone as 'missing' until 24 hours.
The problem though is that there is nothing that we know of to indicate a kidnapping.
There was a picture posted way back in one of the earlier threads that showed a taxi with the lit taxi sign up on top of the car. I would think that it woud be easier to spot than trying to catch the first two letters of a plate that may be moving.

For many Arubans, bad press an unwelcome visitor
More Help Could Be on the Way In Aruban Search
Obviously, there are some taxis in Aruba that have the light on the roof and others that don't. Natalee's friends were accustomed to seeing taxis that didn't have the light on the roof and thought Natalee was getting into a taxi when she got into the Kalpoe car with Joran.
And I would agree with you on that.
But to give an example of the kind of "tip" I was referring to, there was an especially relevant exchange last night between Greta and Mr. Twitty.
Greta told Mr. Twitty that Deepak had said he was "no longer friends with Joran," apparently because he resented being implicated by Joran.
(I think Greta's implication was that Deepak might be "turned" in this case and could possibly become a useful source of information.)
Greta then asked Mr. Twitty if he would be "willing" to talk to the Kalpoe boys, who now that they'd been released might be able to give the Twittys information that might answer the question of what happened to Natalee.
Mr. Twitty hesitated -I thought significantly- before answering, "sure we would."
I think he might have been thinking, in that moment of hesitation, that it was hardly likely now that the Kalpoes would want to say anything helpful to the Twittys --now that Mrs. Twitty has branded them "criminals" who'd participated in a "violent crime" against her daughter, and who demanded that no country let them walk in peace amongst them!
So what an irony. The Twittys have likely earned the enduring enmity of the Kalpoes (including the boys' mom), the very people who might be able to give the Twittys the information they so desperately want.
Anyone think the Kalpoes will ever want to help them now ??? Not bloody likely. Yeah, they should do The Right Thing. But that wouldn't be human nature, would it.
So that's exactly what I was getting at. No less than anyone else here, I'm praying that the Twittys get their daughter back. But I think in the last couple of days they've been making grievous tactical mistakes that could end up costing them the very answers they seek.
Obviously someone left their group and wasn't paying attention to their environment and got into a vehicle with someone they only knew for two days tops. Personal accountablility doesn't only belong to bad people, or the OTHER person. jmo
Got bless Richard Shelby. I hope the Navy can spare some help, but I can already hear the howling resentment from the ankle biters, can't you?
that they have remained at all rational in the face of this tragedy is a credit to them. i simply find it hard to believe that anyone is attempting to hold them to any standard of behavior considering the stress, grief and fatigue that they are operating under. even if what you are saying is true, what would YOU do differently? WHO is going to speak for them, run this rescue attempt for them? who do you want to put a public face on this for them? if the arubans cannot understand the mental state that this family is operating under and won't cut them slack for intemperate remarks, then, frankly, i find them inhumane.
those being the operative words. it has been made clear that they know things that they are not at liberty to divulge at this time for fear of entirely compromising the investigation.

If Deepak is no longer friends with Sloot because Sloot was trying to implicate him, then it is very possible that Deepak had nothing to do with what transpired, so there may be nothing to be gained from a 'turning'.
Hasn't happened so I'm thinking they are just bluffing and the Arubans have already called their bluff.
