Promises of judicial reform are just campaign promises not meant to be kept.

When they came to remove the tube, she was told what they intended to do and she yelled out loudly "I wahhhhhh...."

I don't believe that report. I didn't at the time. At the moment that happened, I don't think anyone would disagree her parents and proponents would have said ~ANYTHING~ they thought might keep her alive.

Oh, she wasn't talking to you; she's talking to her "small group," whoever that might be.

She's here to alert people to our evilness, doncha know?

Wrong the Autopsy report ruled out Bulima as a likely cause of her initial collapse. Nothing in her personal or medical history indicated bulima. That is essentially what is stated in the autopsy report. There was also no evidence of a heart attack. Cause of death according to the medical examiner is UNDETERMINED. And if new evidence or findings are submitted that cause of death may be amended.

there is free will for all of us to do wahtever we want to do, God gave us that. But with what He gave us, there is sin and we can choose to sin and go the path of sin. God does not want us to do that and there are consequences for it. Murder is sin and no matter if we have living wills or not that will not change. Euthanasia is murder, murder is sin in God's eyes and if we commit this sin we will pay for it on judgement day.

I thought as much.

If you don't see the value of a living will, then God help you and your family.

Also, MS let the parents take care of Terri and they threw up their hands after three weeks.

It was "too overwhelming" for them to do 24/7

Court testimony.

It shows the real heart of the Michael/UnFelos/Greer supporters. They think vegetables have more rights than humans who are inconvenient for them.

I don't know if it's their heart or what. I tend to think a good number of them were involved in -- or close to somebody involved in -- a decision to prematurely end a life that was a burden to them. Their combativeness (which is nearly across to board when it comes to members of their clique) seems extremely defensive.

I am going to speculate that Terri's suffered an adult version of shaken baby syndrome.

Based on absolutely nothing you are going to speculate something like that? OMG

I suppose the doctors who were sued just decided not to bring that up as part of their defense, huh? Amazing.

That's nice but there is zero evidence it pertains to this case.

None.

Haven't you heard? This "branch" of the conservative part of the GOP believes in the government in your BEDROOM, HOSPITAL ROOM, and FUNERAL HOME.

I guess the only branch that has the green light to enter your bedroom, hospital room is the JUDICIAL Branch, it appears that branch can play God according to some people in this country.

"I might have some pretty strong words for those who let me die from thirst and hunger for their convenience."

You can keep that from happening by creating a living will. :)

Well said. And Terri's family STILL knows nothing of the whereabouts or condition of her remains.

Absolutely shameful, especially for and to a Roman Catholic.

My wife and I made the commitment to each other, and made it known to lots of other folks and are planning to have it drawn up legally so that there can be no doubt whatsoever of our intentions, that if one of us was in a situation like Terri was, the remaining partner would do what was done in this case.

Does that make us death ghouls?

You made the claim that MS was trying to kill her and I merely stated that insulin and syringes cannot be purchased over the counter. You have provided me with proof that several states permit the purchases.

An account of Terri's final hours are ON MY PROFILE PAGE. Click on my name. I believe her Priest, her brother and her sister. They've known her because she's their older sister! Wouldn't you be afraid on your deathbed?????

Keep in mind you are referring to the law made up by judges, some of them elected and some of them appointed. The people who represent the citizens of the United States of America voiced a different opinion and the judge said.....

NO.

That does not answer the question of why Judge Greer refused to investigate the living will, like our elected reps asked him to do.

What living will? There wasn't one. So he let her husband decide. Which he did, based on recommendations from doctors who told him there was no hope.
