Severe osteoporosis. Very common with vertebrae fractures, especially for someone in her condition for that long

I read that people with severe osteoporosis - all it takes is something minor to break their bones. Could she have developed it from not moving enough? Inactivity causes bones to become brittle I think.

not a candidate for oral nutrition or hydration. concludes this via autopsy?

"removal of her feeding tube would have resulted in her death whether she was fed by mouth or not"

She won't listen to you. You're right, but some here are wise to a great deal.......... but not on this subject.

Well whatever his final conclusion may be that doesn't make it ok to starve her.

It will NEVER be okay to starve someone to death for WEEKS!

That long? The broken bones were discovered one year after the "incident". You don't ossify in one year in your twenties.

He seems to be playing to the accusations made against her death supporters.

Then if they really wanted her dead, they could have tried feeding her...no wait that would be inhumane?

Inactivity, and lack of weight bearing through the skeleton is a likely cause.

She could even do it with simple turning, or rotation through the spine, it's that brittle.

in late march 2005 alleged that schiavo was being given morphine. orders were given, and mrs schiavo received ....

one on 3/19 and one on 3/26.

post mortem tox showed no trace of morphine.

BUT ACETOMINOPHEN DID SHOW UP in screen! ("and orders were given for her to receive")

WHY DID THEY GIVE THAT???

What about her brain? Did they get to her brain yet? That is what I am more concerned about. I want to know why they thought she was such a total vegatable that she needed to be starved to death and they couldn't allow her parents to take care of her. What was the excuse for that?

Tea has been known to affect anemia. In fact, the blood bank advises people not to drink tea for 24hours before a blood donation, IF the donor has ever had a case of low iron in the blood.

I have a history of anemia due to health problems and I was always advised against drinking tea from my doctors as well.

"That long? The broken bones were discovered one year after the "incident". You don't ossify in one year in your twenties."

You are incorrect. Given that she was thin and dieting to begin with (which leeches calcium), severe osteoprosis would not be unheard of.

***

For some with osteoporosis, taking a deep breath causes a rib to crack.

I don't know what caused the osteo -- might have been inactivity...more likely nutritional deficiency. If she was unable to take food by mouth, she probably didn't get enough nutrition (calcium, Vitamin D, etc. etc.)

And since Judge Greer ordered she could not be fed (against the Florida statute which labels it a felony) it would have been illegal.

That's a double negative.

I hope the "Blame Michael" group are hanging their heads in shame. I hope her parents are hangging their heads in shame. They (including many of YOU) have done nothing but lie about Schiavo and her husband.

If you had one ounce of integrity, you'd be profusely apologizing for your outrageous and disgusting behavior.
