If moonshine IS the culprit, I hope it was from a clean copper snake and not a radiator. Radiator run can cause blindness as well as other neurological disorders.

i believe the north would have quickly moved their capitol to Philly after an armistice, as DC would have been within direct-fire range of Arlington County, VA, CSA.
