Grew up 30 min from Detroit (Oakland County, MI) - Have to be here in NC (for work related reasons) but I'll be moving back North as soon as I can - The lack of personal freedoms (or should I say the power that local Government offices wield....and local police departments is mind boggling).

As I said, when the South allows weekly police checkpoints....no one ever has to worry about the South rising again (they just love Gov't power over them way too much).
