Is this an opus? Are you leaving?

Seems to me that no President should be immune from being criticized if his policies go against conservative values, eh?

Blindly following any man is a mistake.

But, if this is your opus...seeya!

The Bushies maybe have gone silent. I already love President Bush and just don't care to get into a shouting match with other freepers.

These phony conservatives who claim the Conservatism purity are savagely attacking President Bush ...

Pot calling the kettle black, seems to me.

Bush has presided over a 28% increase in non-defense discretionary spending, and a multi-billion dollar government giveaway in prescription drugs. Does that sound "conservative to you?" Does that sound like "rolling back government largesse?"

Simple, factual critiques of Bush's record doesn't amount to "Mount Everest" as you put it, it's merely a defense of the principles of conservatism.

Bush is not a conservative. The GOP has shifted to the left too far in order to appease everyone. Give us back our old party and then you will seee more support from the real conservatives. The border issue has cost the GOP/Bush big time.

I voted for Bush twice and will criticize him when I think he is failing us on certain issues. The border is definately one of them. I am sick and tired of the border being wide open for anyone to come as they choose. I gave him 4 years to do something and he hasn't. He now has another 4 and better get it done or I, as well as other conservatives, will sit out the next election.

Bush is a man. He is not conservatism. He ain't perfect. I voted for the guy but his immigration policy should raise anyone's eyebrows.

I remember one of our best Republican activists in Bowling Green, Kentucky was a steady defender of Richard Nixon from most of the media attacks. But finally this fellow said, "I was there in '68 when the slogan was NIXON'S THE ONE and I was there in '72 when the slogan was NIXON NOW MORE THAN EVER but I'll be damned if I'll stick around for MY NIXON RIGHT OR WRONG.

What can one expect when the lead off is ...

Latest News on the Pope

...and they all lead into a diatribe referencing Schiavo?

You took the time to write this?

Define "Republican" before calling people Republican Haters. Big tents and Compassionate Conservatism have multitudes of factions within, if you don't understand how one issue online "pundits" react to adverse decisions to their particular issue, then you really have no need to listen to them.

Shouldn't the question be, why aren't the multitude of online pundits concerns being taken seriously by those on the top of the Republican pyramid?

So basically you would like Mr. Robinson to silence those who disagree wth you on certain issues, like the leftists do? Thought so.

Well, conservatives are for smaller government and less government spending. Perhaps you know what President Bush has done on these two subjects that I don't?

President Bush is a GREAT President, proudly voted for him twice, and I agree with him 110% on every issue except our borders and immigration, where I disagree with him 110%.

Hmmmm.
I have not noticed that.

If you think a no-criticism policy is a healthy approach to political discussion, personally I would want out.
There are many things happening simultaneously and the first thing I will admit is that I have insufficient information to determine which is most critical.
I voted for Bush twice, would vote for him again, and I will continue to criticize when appropriate on secondary peripheral issues (immigration, "religion-of-peace" issues).
