WASHINGTON Pot. Cannabis. Hemp. Weed. Grass.
The herb takes many names. But in the nations capital, where the marijuana lobby (search) was once the recreational diversion of Playboy Magazine's Hugh Hefner, pro-pot special interest groups have crystallized the divergent issues behind the plant and gained a seemingly unified voice.
________________ Puff, Cough, Puff, Cough________________
"Its a no-brainer. It makes no sense putting old and sick folks in jail for an herb that makes them feel better," said Bruce Mirken, spokesman for the Marijuana Policy Project (search), which was established in 1995 by Rob Kampia, a former mainstay at the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, the first pro-pot lobby in Washington, D.C.

Hemp was the single most important commodity of the day to nations with aspirations of independence and power. Even in WWII it was vital to the war effort thus the temporary suspension of the ban on growing it and a robust government campaign to get farmers growing it. The military, particularly the Navy, used it by the millions of tons even without the need for sails. All things you probably know judging from your posts. ; )
Please provide evidence to substantiate those comments.
I think that covers it.
Nah. I'm not going to waste my time with you like I did with the University of Alaska study.
Feel free, however, to refute my claim with your data.
Mega BS
Skunk #1, Super Skunk, Hindu Kush, Afghani #1 and other predominately indica strains will disrupt the ability to think critically. That's why Dean Lattimer, a senior editor of High Times, argued against indica and in favor of sativa strains over 25 years ago.
The marketplace chose not to follow his advice. And as a result, most heads now smoke to get stupid rather than to get high .... just the way the globalists want it.
There's more than one way to dumb down America.
Get real!
This isn't some kind of hidden secret. Jefferson took delivery of the Indica seed from China while envoy to France. He smuggled them back to the states at great personal risk. Any student of American history knows this. Do your homework and learn the history of our country. Your ignorance is detrimental to our freedom!
...
Then support your comments with a reference.
Do your homework and learn the history of our country.
Give me a reference and I'll read it for myself.
Your ignorance is detrimental to our freedom!
As is deceit. Give me a reason to believe what you wrote.
Everyone who ever smoked pot lived twice as long as they would have if they didn't smoke it.
I can't be bothered to provide supporting data, but feel free to refute my claim with your data.
There is nothing wrong with asking for proof of this claim.
It is not something discussed in biographies nor general history so there is no point in getting your tailfeathers all ruffled because someone indicates ignorance of this "fact."
BTW I have seen the GW quote many times but NEVER heard anything like that about Jefferson. NOR any other of those who won our independence. Even a source like "A Stoner's View of American History" would be of interest.
There's a difference between critical thought and reason. Alcohol clouds reason, cannabis does not.
We can end this debate right now.
Medical uses for Alcohol = 0
Medical uses for Marijuana = a few
Addictive properties:
alcohol: yes
marijuana: no
All the people who died from an overdose of alcohol last year. Plenty.
All the people who ever died from an overdose of marijuana.
None.
Now, raise your hand if you think alcohol should be legal (and it is).
Raise your hand if you think marijuana should be illegal.
If you raised your hand both times, you are an idiot.
Nothing makes one as stupid as alcohol.
This part of your post is false.
Shirley ewe gest...
LOL Maybe he was going to get into an Esuvee! ;^)
Sir, with all due respect, your legacy failed you miserably this round.
LMAO!!!
Yes, the intent being to "relax" with alcohol, ie, to get high.
