A Challenge for the all "illegal Immigration" obsessed freepers.

In the last three months the obsessed minority of freepers but very vocal who hate President Bush have been bombarding us with every illegal immigration thread under the sun so they have their "BASH BUSH ORGY".

Since these freepers want to deport every illegal immigrant, here is the challenge for you:

Pick up your phone and report to the INS about an illegal immigrant and his employer. I am sure you know at least one illegal immigrant who works in a convenient store, on a gas station, clean the garbage in your office, clean the bathroom at your work place... And I am sure you know one of these employers who hire illegal immigrants. Go ahead Macho Guys, do your duty and report them to the INS. Let us see how courageous you are and let us see your action following your rhetoric.

Go ahead, ping each other and show us your heroism.

Of course I am very concerned about another terrorist act on the US, and I am 100% for much stronger border enforcement where the terrorists may come, although for the record the 9/11 murderers terrorists came here legally and not illegally.

What I am against is this raging craze about illegal immigration and the Bush bashing regrading his proposal to solve one aspect of the immigration problem, and that is what to do with the 15 million illegal immigrants who are "already here".

In the 1950's the US government launched "Operation Wetback" to deport over one million illegal immigrants from Mexico and they failed miserably because it created a huge backlash

And in 1950's the TV, and the media, was not nearly as powerful as it is now. Imagine we are doing this now, and the backlash that will occur afterward.

Think about live broadcast on your TV screens coming from TV cameras following the INS to restaurants to arrest the illegal immigrant busboy who cleans our tables, to the malls to arrest the illegal immigrant crew who clean the floor, to our work places to arrest the illegal immigrants who clean our bathrooms and pickup our garbage, to the apartment buildings and houses and hundred of million of people for deportation, including millions of women and children.

Can you take these pictures, I cannot, and so 80% of the American population, and no politician will take responsibility for this, including the most radical ones on the illegal immigration issue, they will all hide and run away, and wash their hands from this. You can show all your Macho things how we should deport 15 million illegal immigrants. However when it will start happening and you see it on your TV screens with your children in the living room watching it as well, then we will see how much and how long you can hold.

I know why President Bush cannot order the deportation of the millions of illegal immigrants because he knows exactly what is going to happen, and that is why he suggested the Guest Worker Program as a way practical way to deal with the 15 million illegal immigrant who are already here. Of course we need to work more on preventing illegal immigrants who are already here from living on welfare but this is mostly "State issues" and not federal issues. And we must definitely strengthen our borders control to prevent new waves of illegal immigrants from coming to the US, but those who are already here, you have to deal with them end of story.

President Bush has one of the few practical solution to deal with the illegal immigrants who are already in the US because the deportation of 15 millions illegal is just impossible.

"because the deportation of 15 millions illegal is just impossible."

That is a flat out lie. For a country that has established democracy in two arab/muslim nations nothing is impossible.

Beating a dead horse is a phrase that means continuing a futile action. Its a joke that illustrates my opinion...it is usless to argue with the isolationist right fringe.

On the other hand it is fun.

"So did you call the INS on these two companies."

Tommy, please open your civics book. The lesson for today is "Re-organization of the INS".
Section 1. One part of the re-structured INS is now called ICE. Can you tell us what that stands for Tommy? Extra points if you know what Department of the Federal gov it comes under.

Because I just do not want to destroy the life of a man or a woman who is working to clean the table in a restaurant, or swiping the floor in the mall, or picking up the garbage at a public place, or cleaning the bathroom at a work place. And I do not want to destroy the business that hires them.

Can you do that, let me know.

Dear Sir or Madam:

You seem to want to put all the blame for their situation on me, or in general, on those that would seek to enforce the laws of this country. I reject such a notion. I did not ask the dishwasher, table clearer, or bathroom cleaner to come to this country. They chose to do so themselves, and do so illegally.

When one seeks to accomplish financial gain by breaking the law, one must be willing to face the consequences. Would you say to a bank robber, "I'll let you go, since you have a family to feed. You stole money, but since you are poor and destitute, that makes it ok". I should hope you wouldn't.

Here, the issue isn't about stealing money, but it still is about breaking the law. You attempt to justify breaking the law because the law breaker in question is financially destitute (or has a family to feed, or is struggling to make a business work, etc), so the same argument still applies: Simply because someone is poor, doesn't mean they should be given a "pass" on ANY law. That flies in the face not only of common sense, but in the sense of fairness and equality upon which this country was founded. Thus, it isn't me that's "destroying their lives, or the business that hires them". It's by their own illegal choices that they destroy themselves.

I am not racist. I don't want to deny any immigrant the chance to "make it" in this country. Indeed, this country was founded by, and prospered under, the hard work of immigrants. However, by and large this prosperity was achieved by legal immigrants. Is it fair to the legal immigrants to reward their illegal counterparts? Those who would circumvent the system not only disgrace what this country was founded upon, but also disgrace those hard working immigrants that come to this country by following the rules.

Amother lie, the federal government is responsible for securing the borders AND the federal government insists on giving illegals benefits.

In addition the federal government refuses to address the anchor baby problem.

Every problem with respect to the illegals issue is the direct result of a permissive federal government.

If ones that voted for the wimp (like those here annoyed by his immigration incompetence) can't flame him on it..

Who can?. Nobody.?.

I voted for the idiot twice. Not because he was anything special but because of the compitition.. FR is not DU because we vet our OWN people as seriously as we vet any others.. thats why FR threads can be trusted.. The "I'm a unite'er not a diver'er", sound bite is lame in its essence.. If America needs anything its a good dividing.. because being a "liberal" really is a mental disease.. its also a social disease... And Bush is playing out to be pretty "liberal". Unless their is some Machivellian Plot I know nothing about..

I have a similar "practical solution" for the problem of child sex abuse. I call it the 'NAMBLA Program.' We have tons of older kids, minority kids & kids with health problems awaiting adoption, since so many adoptive parents want a healthy infant of their own ethnicity. We should simply supply one or two of these undesireable children to each identified pedophile -- that will give them an outlet for their unorthodox sexual desires, and it will also incentivize them to care for the children, since we won't be giving out replacements if they kill or neglect the first set. Note that I am certainly NOT saying that we ought to reward pedophilia or encourage it -- we need to be taking steps to discourage the development of new child abusers -- but those who are already here, you have to deal with them, right? Are you gonna call the police and report a child molester? I DARE YOU! I DARE YOU!

I do call the INS. For god sake, I used to work at a restaurant and the dishwasher claimed his name was Miguel Lavaplatos. Lavaplatos is spanish for dishwasher. He was on the mexico bus pretty quick.

"Come on guys, where are you hiding."

Not hiding, jveritas, some of us live in the real world and can't sit on FR 24/7. It's nice your job allows you to do so.

You have stated that you have lived in the USA for 11 years ("I went through the process of H1B visa before I received my Green Card.)", but you haven't said if you are a citizen or trying to become one. You state "I am a Conservative Republican". Does this mean you vote? I'm curious, you voice your opinion like a citizen, does a visa allow you to vote?

I'm sure you want all immigrants to come to this country "legally" as you did.

You also state this,

"Of course the vast majority of us know that illegal immigration is the "problem" when it comes ot the immigration issue and most of us want to seal the border to prevent waves of illegal immigration form coming through."

That's what 90% of us that you continue to bait and call names want. So where is our disagreement?

I will ask the same question that I always ask you and your friends.
HOW MANY ILLEGAL ALIENS WOULD YOU ALLOW IN THIS COUNTRY?

I've never gotten the answer from any of you. Why is that?

Several of you pinged me to this thread. This is the only acknowledgement I will give it.

Back to the real world....
