Regarding the Internet rumors, no member of Freeman's staff made any derogatory or discriminating comments towards Jenna or Barbara Bush. We are a non-partisan establishment and pride ourselves on having a diverse clientele. The Bush twins or any member of the first family are welcome to join us for dinner anytime.
Gee, I don't know. Do you suppose NYC restaurants have had people phone in phony reservations before? Maybe they have a way of dealing with it?
I'm wth ya. Also did you know that these two states plus Utah were the only ones were there was NO blue from any county. The "okienebutes" states. Way to go!
For any who are not yet aware, the Ann Coulter Rule has been amended to include the Bush Twins.
In any thread which they are the subject, at least one photo is to be posted.
I'm not going to take a report seriously when the editor has to ad a not like that. What is the Gawker anyway?
Good call.
The Food
The affordable menu's inspiration stems from retro party appetizers and Midwest hunting lodges. Take the three best starters: nicely gamey wild boar pâté served with a few smashed raspberries and cornichon; baked artichoke dip thick with chokes; and Devils on Horseback--savory blue cheese-stuffed prunes wrapped with bacon.
Nothing like coming back to the Midwest hunting lodge after a day in the field to have some boar pâté and stuffed prunes. Yummy and very Midwestern. (Have these people ever been west of the Hudson?)
It is in downtown NY. While I can't say for certain that everyone cheered, my best guess would be at least 85% cheered.
I lived there for 33 years, I know. ;-)
No no no no!
You totally misunderstood us.
We just want to know where to deliver the ashtrays...
well....that was fun. I just posted on their website under the name ChevyChik. I suggest you all do the same!! There's some San Francisco chick that needs a little slappin' around.
I would say that an IRS Audit is overdue.
"Do you suppose NYC restaurants have had people phone in phony reservations before? Maybe they have a way of dealing with it?"
Maybe - it would be interesting to get a report back and find out if they have ...
Hope their accountant has their books all squared away.
Oh, you are bad, bad, bad!
Have you ever seen the old I Love Lucy in which the club doesn't renew Ricky's contract, and Lucy, Fred and Ethel take action? With the help of Ethel's contact with a theatrical costumer, they show up numerous times for their "reservations" for 12 or 16 or 20 and loudly refuse to stay because Ricky's not there. (It was a great episode!) Well, it worked . . .
Sounds like a DUmmy wet dream - Bush twins refused service, Liberal crowd cheers. BS.
