According to Harvey Levin ("Celebrity Justice") from sources connected with both sides in Eagle, Colorado:
1) Kobe accepts a plea bargain for a non-sex crime misdemeanor such as Third-Degree assault. (misdemeanor, Kobe might get probation, wouldn't have to register as sex offender).
2) Kobe settles the civil case. Pays a financial settlement. Gives letter of apology saying, "that even though Kobe Bryant belived that he was doing nothing wrong, that she felt she had been assaulted in the hotel room, and for that he was sorry."
No plea deals struck, but parties talking about it.
The judge in that hearing repeatedly asked Hurlburt if he had any rebuttal witnesses to the testimony that Johnson gave. His own CBI lab agrees with Johnson.
He did not put up any witnesses to refute the testimony.
If it's slanted, it's because it cannot be refuted.
I never saw one person say that until those transcripts were released.
Never.
You think you have "the actual facts" when you don't

We have the testimony at the preliminary hearing and the transcipt release yesterday. This is testimony under oath. Those are the facts in this case.
You should try informing yourself of these facts. Then you could discuss this case in an informed way.
Exactly all these experts say rape puts women off of sex which makes sense until this testimony and now it is just the opposite??
You poor thing, you're wrong again.
I've read the entire transcripts.
The chick last night was from Colorado.
Of course, none of these women who supposedly had sex after rape will identify themselves, so we have to rely on the word of a victim advocate, and a guy who can come on FR and say anything.
Yeah. Right.
This case never had any legs, cyn, and you know it.
Everybody has to have a trial, it's the law. The reason he was not arrested the same night is because he's a superstar any other people would have had their behind in jail. Kobe had been watching the cops across the street, he knew why they were there. He went to them pretending to be cool and he gave himself away.
She's probably one of the ones who got these draconian Rape Shield Laws passed out there.
He likely would not have been indicted in the first place had the sheriff (who is a personal friend of the accuser's family) not jumped the gun and arrested Bryant, without the knowledge of the DA.
You really don't know the facts of this case, do you?
Can the prosecution put up a token defense at pretrial and then challenge more during the actual trial? Such as suprise witnesses (FL woman) or additional evidence. Or is that just perry mason stuff.
Go away.
You have yet to state ONE fact.
You are maliciously spreading lies
hoping some will get repeated as fact.
Her lawyers say she did not have sex after the Bryant encounter. Like you, I made the point that if the male in question had an "alibi" (for lack of a better term) during the time period in question, there goes that theory. Her lawyers were emphatic and unequivocal. Their client was not with anyone after Bryant and before the exam.
If you just watched Abrahams, Clune was asked if there was sex after Kobe and his reply was......absolutely not. So somebody is spreading lies around here. PM has been very quiet since the victim hired Lin Wood, I wonder if she's looking over her shoulder and having sleepless nights.
If I hit my thumb with a hammer, do I hit it again to "normalize" the first hit?
------
I sure wouldn't be going back for seconds.
Read the transcript.
It is the OFFICIAL court record.
I think they are pretty much locked in. I could be wrong.
imagine everytime they pull you over drunk, they have to go talk to the DA....geesh....
you like some others, think you are the judge and jury in this case and only you people know anything....
let's just have the trial, okay?
I just want a trial....
