Former Iraqi Soldiers Will Not Restore Order in Fallujah
The U.S. Marine plan to have former Iraqi soldiers restore order in Fallujah ran into trouble Sunday as the former Iraqi general heading the new force denied there were any foreign fighters in the city, calling into question his commitment to American military objectives. A few hours later, the top U.S. military commander said the general would not be allowed to lead the scores of armed men he already has mustered in the city.

I think we have to take it easy because of the mess over the prison pictures. I wonder who it was that turned the pictures over to the press and made the original complaint. Wonder what their political affiliation is.

Well, I tend to believe reported facts. Most good News organizatons don't flat out lie. So if I get a fact from CNN or ABC, I'll concider it and wait for someother news organization to confirm it, then I believe it. I learned here on FR to wait for a confirming report. Which is why I am waiting on a confirmaton what we armed the folks that now appear (unconfirmed) to have switched sides.

The last thing I said ...You cast many personal before the last thing you wrote. You should take down the scripture you post on your home page until you have learned what it means.
Now I'm curious as to why he's decided to make these accusations about me...........
Anyone with an open mind who examines your posts for the last 24/48 hours can see your position is one of unswerving blind loyalty to whatever deal the politicians or commanders on the ground worked out with these terrorists who still infest Fallujah. You and your circle do more damage to President Bush than those who honestly acknowledge and critize him or those in his administration who err.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I'll keep prayingBefore, after, or in between your personal insults ?

I'm beginning to believe you're a leftist. Nah. He's one of the hand-wringing, armchair nuke-tosser contingent. It would not surprise me to learn that he voted for Buchanan and Perot.

Look, leftist mainstream media bias has been well documented for decades, take a look at the Media Research center. I can't help it if you ignore it. Don't get mad at me when I point out the leftist media bias that you put so much faith in.

Wonder what their political affiliation is. It matters little. Get the facts. Give the perps a fair trial and a fast hanging. Make an example of them to the world.
Change the interrogation policy to medication.

"I just don't like that is happening to my Marine Corp in and around Fallujah."
I'm willing to bet you have no idea what is happening around Fallujah outside of the stories you read here on FreeRepublic. I'm sure you know the press is flawed. Yet you prefer to believe Marine leadership doesn't know what it's doing. Even if you believe we've surrendered in Fallujah, do you really think posting that opinion endlessly on a public internet site is the best way to help Marines serving on the frontlines. We condemn John Kerry for his traitorous activities during Vietnam. But, frankly, I've seen posts on FreeRepublic that make his comments seem tame.

In the deadliest incident, six troops were killed and 30 were wounded Sunday in a mortar attack on a military base near the city of Ramadi, officials said.
Earlier Sunday, two U.S. soldiers were killed and another wounded in an ambush in Baghdad, officials said. Two members of the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps also were injured in the attack.
Another American soldier was killed and 10 were wounded when insurgents attacked their base near the northern city of Kirkuk with bombs and small-arms fire, officials said.
Two soldiers were killed on Saturday night, when insurgents attacked a U.S. convoy with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades near the southern city of Amarah. Throughout the night, Iraqis set fire to trucks and other vehicles abandoned from the convoy, jumping on the hoods and beating them with sticks.
Another soldier was killed Saturday when a roadside bomb exploded near a convoy heading toward the northern city of Mosul, officials said.
Ah Helloooo President Bush. Wake the F up. This is YOUR watch Mr. President. Take Fallujah and Najaf decisively NOW!
Lots of 2000 lb bombs and flames. B52s. 24/7. Take those two places down now! KILL THE ENEMY MR. BUSH. The Iraqi civilians are rejoicing over American deaths everyday by the thousands. There are no Iraqis demonstrating for US.
KILL THE ENEMY
AND YES THAT MEANS CIVILIANS.
They are killing US

You and your circle do more damage to President Bush than those who honestly acknowledge and critize him or those in his administration who err. War is one mistake after another, we all know that, but pointing out the mistakes and asking questions is NOT under minding the war effort. In fact it helps the war effort to let the "smart people" know that they ain't all that smart and that we will support them if they get their heads out of their butts and start acting like this is a real war cause it is a real war.

People are smoking something if they don't think we're fighting a proxy war against Iran. We're fighting the same war as Saddam in the 80's. The Tigris R. is the Yalu R. is the Tigris, etc.
I think a few suprise Tomahawk strikes in downtown Tehran might raise the price for Iran's interference, and you might see the foreign jihadis dry up to a degree in the streets of Al-Falujah.
Really, Iraq is Morocco in 1942. Bush did the Arabs (and himself) a favor by going after Saddam first, a chance to extricate themselves peaceably before the real putsch. Tehran will be Berlin 1945 assuming Bush gets reelected.
To: Iscool
me too, but only one report, and as I recall to the Suddamn Generals men. If true that puts the arms and amo in Fallujah. Well if General whats his name is fired I hope he returns the arms and amo to the Marines. That do you think the chances of that are?

The Bush administration needs to get PR out on this situation. So far, all the information is conflicting news reports. Why? Do you really believe our military has suddenly turned incompetent? Far more likely this is all disinformation and the press if falling for it beautifully.

A little more detail would be nice, I agree the real target is Iran but we don't have the troops to occupy Iraq and go into Iran. I think hope was Iran would rebell once US Forces were on the border.

I think we have to take it easy because of the mess over the prison pictures.
One has nothing to do with the other. Both are problems that must be taken care of.
I wonder who it was that turned the pictures over to the press and made the original complaint. Wonder what their political affiliation is.
If the claims are valid, what difference does it make? When you get past the sniping and propaganda some (mostly dims) spew forth, we have more than one party for very good reasons.
