Let Us Unite Behind President Bush ( A Plea Message to all Freepers)

Dear Freepers

In this crucial election year, we are seeing that some conservatives are irresponsibly attacking President Bush in very aggressive way. By doing so, they are helping the Democrats and this is not acceptable at all. In this crucial time of our history, where we are fighting the war on terror, it is extremely important that we stay firmly united behind President Bush. We simply cannot afford as a nation to have a Democrat in the White House, it will be a disaster for America. Thus, I would like to ask you my friends who love President Bush and want to see him re-elected to stop attacking him and think about the big picture. Also, I would like to ask you to personally send e-mails to any conservative journalist, radio host, or TV host who is attacking President Bush or harshly criticizing him and ask them not to do so. I already e-mailed Mr. Joe Scarborough from MSNBC asking him to stop attacking President Bush as he has been doing lately. I send an e-mail to Mr. Bob Novak asking him to tell the truth about the ultra left liberal John Kerry rather than put down President Bush as he did in his latest articles. I sent an e-mail to NewsMax asking them to retrieve my name from their e-mail news alert list because I disagree with the way they are attacking President Bush lately. Any article posted on Free Republic and that is bashing President Bush for not being “conservative enough” should not get any traction or responses. If we do not respond to them, then they will eventually stop posting such irresponsible articles. We must work hard in toning down the rhetoric of some of our conservative friends. We love them very much, we respect them very much, but their anger is hurting us all in this crucial election year. Please let us do so, for the sake of this great nation.

I think the naysayers fall into two basic catagories. Trolls and those who don't vote anyways. (or vote third party which is the same as not voting)

Eliminate the Democrat Party. Get rid of them and THEN let a third party rise from third party status to the opposition party. It will take 20 years for all the legacy local democrats to die off or retire but it can be done.

It is best to win now with what we DO have and work towards a future where the next Ronald Reagan is debating the next George W. Bush on the eve the presidency with no Democrat Party in sight.

Of course not. As citizens, we not only have a right, we have a duty to question whether our politicians are doing what they should be doing. I was just trying to point out that not everyone has this logic and they seem to feel that it easier to call people Nazis or Stalinistas if they support President Bush.

Few who feel alienated by a politician are going to return to the fold out of guilt-tripping or bully tactics. It doesn't take too many "where else will you go? "do you want Dean or Kerry?" and "don't let the door hit you in the a**" sneers to incite spite or apathy.

You are correct. They merely strengthen my resolve. Until one of them can give me more than a "single issue" reason ie. War on Terror, why I should vote for Bush, I'll remain solidly against giving him another vote.

I'm compelled to point out that voting isn't about protesting or sending messages. For those not accepting of the status-quo, it's about forcing change.

Albert Einstein once quipped that "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

After Bush senior renegged on conservatives, after the RNC ran Dole/Kemp (because Dole deserved his shot - like the rest of us don't deserve a competent candidate) and the Republicans folded on the Contract with America, and folded on impeachment, and now after working to put President Bush in office for him to likewise renege on conservatives....

After how many years, the Republicans finally had the Whitehouse, the Senate, the House of Representatives. President Bush did not need to sign CFR but he did. He doesn't need to expand medicare and education like he has, but he did. He does not need to push amnesty for illegal aliens but he is.

Only an insane person would repeat voting Republican party line and expect anything to change.

Disrupting? It's the Conservative bashers that are disrupting. This is a Conservative sight, last I knew. We are FORMER REPUBLICANS who will remain FORMER until such a time as our politicians return to Conservative politics. Period. Many here constantly disrupt us when we're trying to have a constructive discussion of policies. You abuse, name call, threaten ZOT and yet you consider us disrupters? We're doing our Constitutionally mandated role as citizens. The rest here are just begging for tyranny because they refuse to participate in anything but pep rallies.

It's well known here that I not only supported Bush, I volunteered and sent cash. I protested all during the Florida recount fiasco. So your smear is misdirected.

W. has my support because of his stance on the WOT, Kyoto, Healthy Forests Initiative, and the possible oil exploration in ANWR.
