Well, why don't you cowboy up and answer the question?
Or are you another coward?

"Allow me to point out that McClintock ended up not being even as electable as an Austrian body-builder/actor."Only because experts like you deemed him beforehand to be unelectable...a self-fulfilling prophesy. Had GWB and others come out for McClintock, you would have followed his lead and voted, along with McClintock supporters, and he would have won.
And it continues with the presidential elections...

Since when did voting only become voting for the winner?Voting is irrelevant to the issue here.
The GOP stopped caring about your vote after the 2000 debacle.
So, in the absence of the GOP--or anyone else--actually caring which candidate you wasted your vote on...
Which one do you want in the White House? Bush? Or Kerry?

Websites like this one. Google does wonders. Actually thanks for getting me to look this up again. It was 11% that fought in the Civil War. It was a little less than 6% that fought against the King.
Considering how many self-styled "conservatives" here, are you listening Poobah, spit on people who value Constitutional adherence in their elected officials, the ratio looks to be holding true to this day.

Feel free to ask me whatever honest question you've got.Kindly note that this is not a question of who you're voting for, or even if you're voting.
On January 20th, 2005, the President will be sworn into office.
Of the choice of George W. Bush, or the Democrat nominee, who do you prefer to be President starting on January 20th, 2005?
"None of the above" is not an acceptable answer. Pick one of the two choices.

2000 debacle? I seem to remember my vote went for a George W. Bush. Or are you talking about Florida? That's really not my fault, because I don't live there.
The answer to your question is neither, and I intend to vote that way. If that's not what everyone else decides, that's just fine.
I refuse to be one of the sheeple, voting for a person simply because he has an R.

We will not get out of it overnight. Mature adults understand this. When you become one, let us all know.

Why is "none of the above" not an acceptable answer? (other than your decree?)
They both suck.
Both bode ill for the republic.
I don't want my children to face the legacy of either of these men.

Why is "none of the above" not an acceptable answer? (other than your decree?)It would be acceptable if "none of the above" occupying the Oval Office on January 20th, 2005, was a possible outcome of the November, 2004 election.
It isn't.
With that in mind...pick one.

"None of the above" is an answer. Repeating that it is not, does not make it unacceptable. Until the ballot gives me only the two choices, with a blank ballot also not an option, then "none of the above" is my answer.

The GOP stopped caring about your vote after the 2000 debacle. They sure did! I stopped caring about the GOP when the GOP stopped caring about Conservatives.

We did not get into this situation overnight. No.
It took years of sniveling apologists like yourself, telling us how (insert your mealy-mouthed GOP personality here) just HAD to be a leftist on this issue to get elected, but just you wait... he'll be conservative soon.. you'll see..
Yadda Yadda Yadda...

That's really not my fault, because I don't live there.Had the 4 million conservatives who voted for Bob Dole but didn't vote for George W. Bush bothered to show up on Election Day, 2000...Florida would've been irrelevant.

LOL, And you've been a member of DU how long?
I've had an account over there for about a year now. I don't post, I lurk, and there were some site features I wasn't able to access without an account. I'm not Sabertooth there, BTW, or Sabretooth. Those names were already taken.

You asked who I WANTED to win.
And "none of the above" is certainly a more than reasonable answer to that question.
I want neither of them to win.
