It would be acceptable if "none of the above" occupying the Oval Office on January 20th, 2005, was a possible outcome of the November, 2004 election. It isn't.

You didn't ask me who WOULD win.

You asked who I WANTED to win.

And "none of the above" is certainly a more than reasonable answer to that question.

I want neither of them to win.
