Simply show me where my conclusions are wrong, and how your conclusions lead to another outcome. If that's possible. I've already done that...in spades. I showed you where Bush was wrong in almost EVERY key moral area - and you agreed. I pointed out that moral laws apply in all of life, I pointed out that the lesser of 2 evils is a fallacious and false argument, etc. etc... All you could do was agree that Bush is liberal in many ways. Review the thread.

Do you think Bush can withstand such attacks from his own base? Sorry you 1%ers aren't the base.

Personally I like the idea of citizenship through working! As a matter of fact if I had my way I'd deport the Welfare deadbeats who refuse to work!

You said democracy and republic - no appreciable difference, yet you haven't given one example of a democracy where there is no appreciable difference to our republic. The roman republic did not resemble ours. Our republic was founded on judeo-christian principles and was placed UNDER GOD. Rome was pagan and did not recognize any rights for people that rome itself did not ascribe. Huge differences! You named one single similarity and then tried to say they were closely similar. Not.

To prevent being suckered by liberal spin in libertarian clothing, you should void MSNBC when possible with the exception of Scarborough and Mathews. Just my opinion from watching it for years.

"I'm curious, where are you getting that Bush wants to give welfare to illegal immigrants? I think this is being blown out of proportion by the hate Bush crowd and misunderstood by many conservatives."
I never made this statement. I said that
1)Current LEGALS that are on welfare at a rate of 35%
2)ILLEGALS and the MAJORITY OF LEGALS PAY NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES and carry no health insurance. So therefore Me and you Mr. John Q Taxpayer pay for these services and HOUSANDS of others.
This in so many words no matter how you wish to shake it and dice it is welfare.

That is what America is about people...OUR rights...OUR choice...not being a loyalist when our party is the one letting US down! Wonder how people feel about lies:
"I oppose amnesty, placing undocumented workers on the automatic path to citizenship. Granting amnesty encourages violation of our laws and perpetuates illegal immigration." -President George W. Bush
"This plan is not amnesty," the president said of his plan to match workers with jobs. "I oppose amnesty because it encourages violation of our laws." -President Bush 1/12/04
If anyone is in Texas...Congressman Ron Paul has a rocking party!

Our world on the net is small compared to John Q. Public but guess what John Q. Public is now aware of the illegal proposition and he is mad, by the thousands.

You said democracy and republic - no appreciable difference I said there was no real difference between the definitions of a democracy and a republic. I did not say (nor do I believe) that there are no real differences between various republics/democracies. Every one is different, but they all have common traits.

I am truely mixed. I was ALL FOR BUSH until he touched my hot spot....which happens to be immigration. I understand that he is not the law maker he reccommends but I am afraid of the statements he made to open this debate. I am for Tarcendo's bill. I will make my decision from here forward and watch him. Leading up to the NOV. elections if he doesn't dissappoint me on this issue then yes I will. Another stunt with him cozying up with turd worlder Vicente Fox then no I will not.

Oh, am I lying? I just read it there. The founding fathers who VERY CLEARLY AND IRREFUTABLY connected the dots between the Decl. of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The Declaration was the Why, The Constitution is the How. Our founders were Christians - 6 men signed both the Declaration and Constitution, and all signers of both agreed with the principles laid out in the Declaration of Independence. They said rights come from GOD - you hate that don't you! This document must be erased so that secularists like you and Poobah don't have to look at it! Well, it was the authority under which we went to war! Can't change that, and you can't change the fact that the founding fathers believed every word of it! I don't care what you modern-day relativists, secularists, statists, victocrats, marxists and atheists say. History tells the story quite well, and as much as you try, you can't change history.

No, I mean the conclusion about how withholding your vote for a Republican, and trashing the supreme court, won't lead to a democRAT president who can ignore the constitution.

Yes, perhaps real conservatives will wake up to the betrayal in their midst. On this thread alone, I counted several people who will not now vote for Bush. There will be millions across America - no doubt.

MAP this needs to go on your homepage-Excellent!
As a conservative first, I am sure I am not alone in having lost sight of what it is suppose to be about the Republican Party that makes them fit to represent me. I have completely lost sight of the reasons.
