MEE-OWCH! Could a catfight be brewing between "Saturday Night Live" newscaster Tina Fey and right-wing pundit Ann Coulter?

While presenting Al Franken with his comedy trophy at yesterday's New York Magazine Awards, Fey lauded the liberal author of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" for skewering the likes of Coulter and Bill O'Reilly, adding: "Have you ever seen Ann Coulter in person? It's like seeing a rat. It's like, ewwww!"

I have some relatives who belong to a very social New England crowd (they attended that Tyco pres.'s party) and the horrible, hateful comments that they repeat about Ann Coulter are amazing. I think they hate her more than Rush.

I don't really like P.Diddy, but I do have slightly more respect for him running the marathon considering that he's such a pampered person and likely not use to sweating much. Normally, I would consider stuff like that a PR stunt, but he really didn't get *that* much publicity out of it and he followed through and finished it. Plus, he has so much money that he didn't even need extra publicity.

I have to say I agree with you. I had never heard of this toenail thingy before that is associated with running (which shows I do not run or jog, lol), but hearing he ran this marathon and completed it is impressive.

I saw the Ann Coulter sketch on SNL and it WAS pretty funny. Ann does come across sort of, intense, at times.

Tina Fey has a big problem for a comedy writer: she is not funny. But she is politically correct to the n-th degree.

About two months ago, when the place where I live, Southern California, was suffering horrendous firestorms---thousands of homes destroyed, people burnt alive---this witch on the "Weekend Update" segment commented that the whole horrific series of fires was "God voting in the California recall," and then went on to do a bad impression of Gov. Schwarzenegger treating the fires as if they were an action movie. We Californians vote in a way she doesn't like, and she has to make a joke out of tragedy.

This feline farrago against Ann just confirms my low opinion of her. I hope the bitch gets run over by a garbage truck, and is compacted into New Jersey landfill.

You guys are debating writing ability with a so-called writer who has so little imagination that he resorts to combacks like "cut back on your drinking" inside of 100 posts. The only person here who tried to cast Coulter as a wannabe sexpot was HG. The rest of us seem to think that she is a very opinionated conservative who is not hard to look at, but that's about it. I suspect that most of HG's sexual experiences have been of the Playboy variety, and he is disappointed that Ann can not keep up physically with airbrushed featherbrains.

How does running in a marathon cause one to lose toenails? Shoes too small??

My husband has run a few dozen marathons and never lost a toenail. I think Sean Combs' mistake was wearing whatever shoes Nike gave him (product placement, you know), instead of the shoes that were best for his foot and running style.

Well, he certainly hits home some great points on Tough Crowd. The show really should get much more press and many more viewers. Heck, I'd enjoy a live thread for it here on FR during each show.
