Changing Our Country

John F. Kennedy wrote a small book in 1958 titled "A Nation of Immigrants" promoting freer immigration policies. It was the blueprint for a law that President Kennedy proposed in 1963, shortly before his assassination, to eliminate racial discrimination inherent in the nation's immigration system.

Two years later, JFK's "A Nation of Immigrants" idea became the The Immigration and Nationality Act Amendments of 1965 pushed through Congress with little fanfare as a tribute to the fallen president by his brothers, Edward and Robert Kennedy.

A Nation of Immigrants

You know what? America really is a nation of immigrants. Our parents, aunts and uncles and grandparents come from every country in the world and pretty much we all get along okay. Separatism was allowed in some areas but generally we assimilated with each other quite well.

Marrying each others sons and daughters, working side by side with recent legal immigrants doesn't seem to bother most Americans. From what I've seen in my 56 years we generally attempt to assist the newcomer to assimilate into our communities with ease. During lunch we ask questions about what their life was like in their home country and we tell stories our grandparents told us about what it as like back where our national heritage stemmed from.

Today our life is different. We have illegal aliens coming into our country who are refusing to assimilate and become part of our communities. They are refusing to speak English, demanding that we provide Spanish dialect speaking teachers. Abusing every welfare program that we have is intentional. Flipping their finger at the local cops who patrol their neighborhoods is a sign that they will continue to disobey our laws. Hit and run automobile accidents are so common today that our insurance rates have snowballed out of sight.

Somewhere along the line we were tricked. Yeah, I mean plain ole snookered into believing that what comes from the courtrooms or from Congress just has to be good for our beloved United States of America. We have the hardest damn time believing that another American would do something to intentionally hurt our beautiful country. The definition of "leader and/or leadership" was changed without any public discussion whatsoever.

First was President Nixon and his EPA's long discussions of biological diversity and the need to preserve native plants and animals . That makes sense if you enforce the plan with common sense. We weren't told that common sense would be prohibited from this idea. A multiple-species community doesn't mean what you and I think it does, but that's another subject.

Then out came the hyphenated heritage designations and secular flock titles, Irish-American, Chinese-American, French-American, Philippine-American, English-American,and Irish Catholics, American Jews, etc. This ticked off quite a few people because they had always considered themselves to be Americans first. Their great grandparents were the Irish, came from Ireland and when they were able to qualify for US citizenship, Americans. All descendants of them were just plain old Americans because they were born on America's soil. Many of these foreigners and first term Americans fought and died for America in the Wars. This was what brought our patriotism to the front porches of our homes and Main Street parades on July 4th. Secular divisions? What business is it of any political group what religion you are? As long as it isn't violent, stay out of that persons religious beliefs!

Bring forth the slow dilution and extinction of our Republic.

In the seventies and eighties, national origins, multiculturalism, and diversity became the key terms to the new political organizations and advocacy groups.

Electoral speeches all had to have the words "tolerance of diversity and cross-cultural effectiveness" to be considered acceptable. Politically acceptable speeches now were the only ones permitted to be broadcast on public radio and television stations.

Any subject deemed controversial was prohibited. You are subject to personal and financial discipline for mentioning anything that possibly stigmatizes or victimizes an individual on the basis of race or ethnicity.

Discriminatory admissions policies were used to buffer the mistermed diversity programs, actually separatist. If your heritage was from certain countries you would be admitted to the nations best colleges and universities using a point system. This commitment to ethnic freedom is even more insincere than a politician tromping about shaking hands for re-election votes.

The publicly stated basis of all of this was to cure discriminations of the past 150 years. Any group with self prejudicial beliefs of inferiority, mental or physical disabilities, poverty or lower education levels is eligible to apply for tax dollars free government funds available in dozens of entitlement programs. These politically controversial goals were a winner for the Democrats, so the Republicans decided to get in line with cash baskets of their own. They started promoting new programs, ignoring the past conservative moral traditions of "self responsibility". Today "self responsibility" is considered a fault in a persons character. You are viewed as a problem child who may not stand in line when told to do so.

With both major parties tossing tax dollars free government funds into the air for any all to reach out for, illegal immigration has once again became a national problem for the citizen who pays the bills. Police chiefs are afraid to publicly mention the actual numbers of illegal aliens in their jails fearing the numbers might prompt demonstrations. They have resorted to saying these costs are provided for with tax dollars federal government funds. (just a semi-lie) They keep forgetting to say "partially"! Then the profiling of criminals was outlawed to the detriment of many once reasonably safe cities. An officer must now justify, as if he were on the witness stand, every stop-and-question he undertakes of an illegal alien. There's no such requirement for a stop-and-question of white Americans.

Our current batch of sorry assed politicians in Congress and the Senate consider these entitlement programs woefully underinclusive, denying this giveaway franchise from their cohorts in local politics. So they keep pushing for larger pork barrels in the budgets. Governors are doing their best to keep up with the mad rush to give America away, demanding larger state budgets every term.

While giving speeches, being surrounded by parasites is considered an honor if you are a leader politician. Constitutional commitments to Oaths of Office are disregarded without fear of prosecution, shame or guilt now. Preaching the diversity lie appears to be a sure re-election tactic to the party leaders liars.

Have you ever heard of the word "essentialism" (n) -The practice of categorizing a group based on an artificial social construction that imparts an "essence" of that group, which homogenizes the group and effaces individuality and difference.

Was this part of "The United Nations Agenda 21 Plan"?

The illegal alien population in the United States today is more than twice the total of 1986. By using diversity and "essentialism" our political and judicial leader liars have once again separated America into racial and ethnic groups.

Was this part of "The Plan"? I think so. My reasoning for this is because under federal guidance we are looking at our neighbors and co-workers wondering if the grandparents or parents perhaps overstayed a visitors visa fifteen or twenty years ago. We are wondering if we can trust someone who speaks with an accent, could they be a criminal and just hasn't been arrested yet. Should we report our suspicians to the Border Patrol.

We have been intentionally divided in hyphenated heritage congregations and secular flocks. The reason for dividing us into small groups who quickly question the motives of all other groups is to make it difficult for us to join together and fight a common problem. Having ten small uncoordinated groups threatening you is much easier to deal with than having one large determined group, with a common purpose, surrounding your home or office.

Public resources are being spent on, confining, investigating crimes, injuries and deaths of illegal aliens. Hispanic and Latino political organization advocacy groups are demanding driving rights for themselves, criminal aliens. The security of your state drivers license identification has diminished because of nationwide counterfeiting and corrupt DMV employees.

Do not be surprised if Homeland Security says it cannot stop this from continuing and America must have a National Identification Card Program.

We are under attack by two predators, illegal aliens and ineffective and/or corrupt government officials.

How can government officials ignore the massive invasion of illegal immigrants. President Bush refuses to speak on the subject. According to a recent poll, 80+% of American citizens consider this to be a greater threat than terrorists to our national sovereignty and financial security.

Could this be a challenge to see if the once proud American citizens will actually fight for their own national sovereignty and financial security on American soil? Our troops don't have any difficulty fighting on foreign soil for the benefit of foreigners.

Mexico and 300 other nations send their lower class citizens to America for us to provide for their education, medical and income via jobs at the cost to American taxpayers and jobs.

The "Slide" has become a socialistic free fall.

The Republican Socialist Party has made many changes without informing it's membership under this president.

Our political leaders liars are refusing to:

• Bring this illegal alien invasion to a halt,
• install adequate systems where employers can quickly verify SSI and drivers license identification,
• deport these criminal parasites from our cities,
• remove all foreigners from welfare and medical programs,
• lower our taxes which were raised to benefit foreign governments,

  "Offshoring" and "outsourcing," fully supported by the President and Congress, are taking away American jobs, not stabilizing our economy. The demand for commercial loans is shrinking not rising which is an indicator that American businesses are still hesitant about expanding.

  We keep hearing about the benefits of a multi lingual and bicultural country from our legislative leaders liars. Any attempt to install two or more competing languages and cultures in one place only results in anger and hate. This is what our leaders liars are doing to us. These illegal aliens aren't only refusing to become Americans, they are demanding that we give entire states to them! I am way beyond having compassion for these parasites because I now consider them enemies to my way of life and the heritage I had hoped to pass on to my children.

  Schools are readjusting Christmas vacations lengths from two to three weeks to permit the children to travel to their home country and not be tagged with the unexcused absences. "It's part of being binational",said David Kearney-Brown of the Napa Valley Language Academy. Twenty five percent of the students are dictating to the others how long the winter vacation will be!

  President Bush is leading our country into a socialistic free fall. Currently the United States is running a $500 billion trade deficit. Our President doesn't see the damage to our economy when illegals send a billion dollars home every month. They came to America, found work and now have developed their own foreign aid program. All the while we have paid their bills for medical, food, housing and education. These state and federal unfunded entitlement programs in unfunded mandates are bankrupting America and it's citizens! President Bush's new national medicare programs will secure the health benefits for millions of illegal aliens at the cost of our tax dollars. Presidente Fox is asking for more and our legislative leaders liars are coaching him on how to do it better!

  They give compelling patriotic speeches which are designed to take our minds off of the long term results of todays socalist legislation. Redefining conservatism is never mentioned.

  New Social Security proposals would allow millions of Mexicans to return home and still collect U.S. Social Security benefits. Come to the land of beautiful dreams, work a few years under various false names and stolen SSI numbers, then collect free government funds for the rest of your life living in Mexico. Illegal aliens will bear no penalties for identity theft and/or fraud. This was what I would have expected from President Carter, not a man who identified himself as a conservative Republican. I wonder if our President understands "VETO" and his authority to use it?

  Just imagine what the effect would be in each city if just four Border Patrol agents dressed in uniform, stopped into each and every local business, would do for American jobs. A polite warning to the manager that next week the allowance of illegal workers will result in $10,000 fines. Then next week an undercover agent with a video camera photographs all workers catching anyone who refused to obey the law. The fines would pay for the busses needed to transport the criminals home, I'm sure.

  I think it is time to make radical changes in our political and judicial systems. We have judges making law on their emotional feelings. Private property rights are disappearing down the toilet. A political party that has read and understood the Constitution lately sure would be a nice one to go for. The time to make our decisions is drawing near. Do we continue to sit in our comfortable chairs watching America free fall and prepare ourselves for the thud that destroys our childrens futures or do we stand up and fight for them?

  I am wondering how many state and federal agents/bureaucrats would be willing to join us in our fight. Will any of them be willing to assist us in preserving America for the children we are so proud of? I'm sure they know the little ins and outs of preventing legislation from getting out of the committee, what can be done to stop the tricks legislators use to provoke "no recorded vote, just a show of hands", etc.

  What is needed to awaken these leaders liars that our American children's futures must come before the foreign criminals child? Do we need to have a Tea Party now or should we wait until the legislative leaders liars get ANOTHER amnesty program through Congress?

I still believe we are in the early days of a much larger conflict...sort of like the late 1930's in Europe and the western Pacific (Japan in China).

If we do the right thing (ie. take the fight to these terrorists and their supporters without let up, reverse course on the PRC, get sane about our immigration policy, stem the flood of our offshore outsorurcing/manufacturing, and hold fast to our own unalienable rights in the process) we can still avoid the worst IMHO.

Jeff, I think just the idea of abandoning our old secure beliefs is too much for many people to take. When I saw the Patriot Act sweep through Congress I knew we were in serious trouble.

The largest problem of this encroachment is that too many people truly believe we need it. Second in line was the faith people have in politicians. They do not want to review the lies we have been told and demand corrections from their leaders liars. Continuing to search for the good moves while ignoring and shunning all knowledge of the bad ones isn't the way to operate a business or a free country.

I agree...but I believe that there are enough who do see it to make the difference as we move forward.

Klamath was a good microcosm. Those folks didn;t want to believe it either...but when things kept going, ultimately a very dedicated minority of them stepped into the breach and made the difference.

That will ultimately come on a larger scale...through efforts of many people in grassroots causes, we are hastening that time IMHO.

Of this I have serious doubts. The few thousand Americans who also saw the hazards of the Patriot Act were not willing to spend twenty dollars in phone bills to call their representatives local office and then to solidify their anger, call the office in Washington. Republicans voters are known as the wait and see what happens group, thinking that their reps will never vote for anything that would hurt America.

I dfon't know what is required to wake them up. Bush is signing a measure aimed at closing minority home ownership gap today, furthering my belief that he has become 100% socialist. It's called the American Dream Downpayment Act, and it provides some 200 million dollars to subsidize home-buyers with downpayment and closing costs.

Who would go back to living without in home toilets and clean running water if America will give them to you? Nobody I know, not even the space loving Indians in New Mexico.

Actually, the national leadership of the CP is trying to do just that. However, they're having trouble effecting their ideal because of their insistence that America is a Christian nation (which I have nothing against, per se). There are so many different groups that call themselves Christian that they are bound to come into conflict, and they have.

It all boils down to this: If America is a Christian nation, and "our party" is a Christian party, then we must make sure that our branch of Christianity dominates the party.

I have a lot of respect for the program and leadership of the Constitution Party. I really do wish them well. But they've got to solve this problem or it will cost them their future.

The judiciary, the legislative and executive branches are all constitutionally out of control as respects their powers. it is us who have to cram tham back into the confines of the constitution.

We have the soap box and the ballot box to resort to first and there is still a lot we can do there...ultimately our founders resorted to another kind of box that I pray to God we can avoid...but we must let those politicians and appointed adminstrative types know that we still have those other boxes laying around, that they are not empty and that we are proficient in their use.

If a third party person ran on this one issue alone, I don't believe they would have any trouble getting into the White House for at least one term.

I sorta growled when she identified her affiliation, and she asked what was wrong? I told that I understood the purpose of her call, but that I had a message for the Party. She asked to hear it!

Well, I had to oblige her, right? So I gave her both barrels regarding the border. And the inane little twit had the audacity to say she had no idea it was so bad, but she heard the same thing from a lady in Tucson, and she isn't political and doesn't really vote, and...

Doesn't vote? Well then what in the name of all that's Holy are you doing asking me for money?

That was the end of that call.

Ideologically, the Constitution Party IS the conservative party, at least as I define conservatism. Perhaps once we manage to completely stomp the democRAT party into the ground and the Republican party moves in to become the "new democrat party," then the CP can take root. Everything seeks to attain balance. The extremism of the left has forced the Republican party to swing left of center. It will take a true conservative movement to restore balance.
