My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather©

He is kinda sad right now, away from home for a long time, since he was 14years young.
This is a new town for him, he probably misses his girlfriend. :-(
He looks like his mom,( my daughter )and his granddad, my kids dad. He died many years ago.
To: bentfeather
Awww. I bet his girlfriend misses him too. :-(

It's tough to be far away from your loved one when you're young.

Yes, that's so true, but he is a tough guy! I love him very much. His granddad would be so proud of him had he lived to see him play semi-pro Hockey.

Night Flights
Unknown night flights
walking stairways through memories
past the pain
You walk from my beauty...
oblivious to love lost...

I got a box in the mail today. It's nice!! That was quick!!
How's the water system working now??
Better than ever, fortunately. Hopefully we won't have any more cave-ins that rattle rocks loose into the resevoir. The rocks that got into the pump really chewed up the innards.
All set now for a real feast!! Think I'll have a sandwhich. LOL
Sounds like our supper. My back's too sore to stand by the stove to cook. Too much scrubbing to get the mold off the outside of the house so we can paint it. OUCH!! Now we know why so many farmers have lots of kids.....to let them do all this "fun" stuff. LOL!

Good morning everyone!
To Touch The Heart
To touch the heart of someone dear -
though it might sometimes cause a tear
to fall or rest upon the cheek -
Should be something all should seek.
For often hearts -
not touched at all start hardening and shrinking small.
And then the time - it takes to grow
A loving heart - is very slow.
For hearts expand as those who care -
extend their love and - let us share
a moment, space or special phrase
that eases pain on dreary days.
Or simply starts our lips to smile
and brightens time for just a while
The ways and kinds and means of sharing
it seems to me - Are based on caring.
And though we're often worlds apart,
You still can touch my very heart.
You make me smile or shed a tear.
And I'll remember year to year
Just how your "touching" helped me grow.
And I just thought I'd tell you so.
