My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I was so afraid that that song would be played at daughter's wedding or reception. I don't think of it as an adult love song anymore. I see it as a father holding his seconds old daughter in his arms.

I have myself a pet peeve,
A so-called bone to pick.
Why is the left so hosed up,
What made these people sick?
The haters of America,
Who made their fortunes here.
They’re in your face like you are scum,
Their end is drawing near.
We’re talking Barbara Streisand,
And Fatso Michael Moore.
Al Franken and the Dixie Chicks,
Let’s show em to the door.
Let’s tell them all to take a hike,
And drive them from our land.
We’ve had enough of liberal crap,
The Clintons lead the band.
So pack your bags and hit the road,
Farewell you scumbag libs.
And don’t come back to our dear home,

No, not new Dark, it's called response writing. I have done it in the past and enjoy writing in this form very much along with original thought work.


Ideas come from all kind of inspiration. That's the beauty of what we do. :-)
