If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather©

Oh SAM, I did indeed, she and her hubby are the best friends.

The cats are amazing!!! 39 of them!!!!

Glad to be home, but ready to fly in a heart beat. Very chilly here in NY tonight. I spent about 1 hour and a half waiting at the Syrcause airport for others to come in on flights before the Limo driver could head on down the line. Well, made it safe and sound. :-)

It's great to meet a FReeper that you only know online.

No place like home though is there?

Thanks bentfeather. We have spent our waking moments since Saturday sharing our happiness with family and friends. People will soon tire of us and we will have to move to a new town.

Jim Rob sent a kind response to the poem, asking me keep looking for some talent ; )

Her eyes said what her mouth couldn't quite get out. Of course it's YES and I didn't even use poetic license to write that part.

    Did I post this yesterday?

The Bonus

If only I had known before,
The way that this would be.
I would have done this long ago,
Her joy is touching me.
She looks at it like a new toy,
Received on Christmas Morn.
I see her and I have to grin,
Her hand it does adorn.
Yes it is true she always smiles,
But now the smiles seem bigger.
I sure do wish that I had known,
The joy a ring would trigger.
