My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather©

Well, it would be nice if the joystick's own software could 'see' it, that way I could play my flight sims and such, but it can't, thus I can't.
*snort*
I might actually go up a tree in frustartion after this...
Did everything that Logitech said to do to try and get the software to detect itself.
And still nothing.
And they have no answers at all.

I wander the forested trail
stalking leaf covered paths unseen
Haunted by her voice and face
whispered words as from a dream
A drifting shadow in the night
mist outside it's boundary
Back to my halls once more
footfall echo'd darkened corridors
A dark repose is my keep
no quiet refrain in my cursed sleep
Even as I wander paths unseen
the leaf littered forest scene
Her face and voice haunt my dreams
and only I am there to hear my scream

I'm afeared that gothic poems of woe are my 'kith and ken'.

Though I should probably change the line "As from a dream" to "As from dream/s" or such.

I wandered many a lonely forest trail
the wolves riding tail
and owls screeching wild
the heart of a broken child
Many a heart was worn on sleeves
broken and smashed like dried leaves
left in piles of mouldy ruin
Dusty rusty left to the winds
to haunt the minds of lonley men
and kiss the children in their sleep
Keep them safe for goodness sake...
To: bentfeather
Pretty, thanks.
And I will try to keep them safe.

Yesterday I thought of you
and olden times and skies of blue
and Merry Old England of Renaissance
of noble men and loyal deeds
of pipes and jousting knights
on horses huge and wild
and smoked turkey legs served bare
Apple Cider in a jar,
and little children running all about
and dogs on leashes big and small
the sound of laughter on the wind
oh, yes and I thought of him...
