My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Dance and whirl flicker and glow
Roil and wave as a shimmering haze
Embers of the heart, flame of my love
From the ashes a flame rekindle
To rise phoenix like once more

It's early stuff by teh band "Evanescence"
Some of it reads almost like a poem.
Sometimes hard to think that they're classified as 'Gothic Rock'...

I love the smell of flaming marshmallows at night....

Twas not a lover the jilted me
that caused me to bleed
be sad and disappointed
twas a lady friend or so I
thought, who stab the knife
in my side,
told me to leave a place
I had loved so dear
I help build a cyber home
then found I had not a place
to hang my hat...
Oh well, I don't bleed anymore
my conscience is clean
there is no in-between
I am okay and will live
to make new friends today

Well, are we all settled in?
Good, now I'll tell you the story of the mysterious
magical loofah! Okay, so I'm joking, there is no such
story... yet(?). As it is all snippy's fault (pointing
out before hand), I have a haiku... again. Two actually.

Looking in your eyes,
I get lost in the moment.
I must be dreaming.

Surrender to me,
be my love forever more.
We two shall be one.

Well, it has been theorised that artistic types suffer from some form of mental disorder or another.
So, technically, we may be mad together as it sits.
And it's fun!
