I didn't ask, she didn't volunteer a reason. Gavin had only a few minutes to make his flight, so I didn't want to cause trouble. Perhaps they do know just how ridiculous they are.

Oh ok .. and yes they are ridiculous .. they had a chance to do this security checks the right way but instead they screwed it up

Well I have to head off to bed .. I won't be around much tomorrow due to jury doing .. I hate sitting around al day for that .. I'm just crossing my fingers I don't get called again

I talked to my sister tonight. She is in good spirits - even though she was losing a Scrabble game to her husband. He's also a killer at Trivial Pursuit.
She said she had been reading a very infomative book, "Breast Cancer for Dummies" -- when she said that I just started laughing, and so did she, and we couldn't stop. I wonder if her doctors are reading "Medical Degrees for Dummies."

Hi Grannie,

From a guy who works regularly with large yellow and black earth moving equipment, I recommend you open the back of your computer with a screwdriver, then take it to the car wash and pressure wash it. That should eliminate the "clunking" noise. Don't waste time with a wimpy vaccuum cleaner.

Last year I was on a tour of one of our projects in the USA, and flew from Rapid City, South Dakota to Salt Lake City. I, in my 50's, was the youngest person on the commuter flight...everyone else were in their 60's to 80's, the little blue-haired lady bunch and the idiots at the terminal still went through their detailed search scharade.

They do random checks on everyone, but if some goof with the name Abdul isn't a random selection, he doesn't get checked...we wouldn't want to offend anyone.
