In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Do you have the classic set of three that that song is on?

One is country....

I love his tribute to the Alamo, 13 Days of Glory.

Where are our weapons?

Indeed a fine question.
So far, it seems our "weapons" are acutely lacking in spine.

Perhaps our "weapons" need a swift kick in the ass?

Our dogs are adept at making hot spots, too. They say it's not that unusual in long-haired dogs, although I don't understand why it is more common in them.

Too bad you're missing the game. It is tailor-made for Redskins fans. All offense, all the time.
Sorry tiger. At this point your guys are really struggling. Except for Mickens and Glenn, who are doing well. Hmm, wonder where they went to school?
The latest sideline chick has got to go.

What a bimbo.... I'm sure she's good for something, but it has nothing to do with football.

She was reading from cards, for goodness sakes. And what's with the Wonderbra? She looks and sounds more like a Victoria's Secret model.

I am in total understandment of the lack of rain.

Delaware (thank the Lord I don't live there any longer) was under drought warnings and restrictions year upon year and it included the fire warnings.

Consider my prayers for rain - I do understand what lack of it means.

Gabz, are you in a flood plain??

No, thank goodness - but the major part of this county is considered flood prone. It appears that I live in/on one of the higher elevated areas of the county - if you consider about 5feet above sea level to be high elevation!!!

According to my homeowners insurance, wind, not water, is my problem. This house was built in 1945, and is still here - so I guess I don't have too many worries!!!!

ACK - and we missed it all.

At least the power didn't go out - just the cable - which means there were more serious problems across the bay!!
