My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It came to me at 4:30 one morning
while I was pondering two separate
head injuries I had sustained. I had
received two different concussions a
year apart from eachother. I was struck
in the temple both times, luckily both
concussions were only type 1 (not serious).
But I have noticed differences since then.
Strange headaches & such, but vertigo is what
bounced into my head after a conversation
with my brother earlier that day.

Yes.
For some reason, being brought up on English language, the brain reorders the letters insidde the word anyway.
And it strangely makes some sort of sick sense to begin with.
I, OTOH, mis-type 'the' as 'teh' and dear sis busts on me for it.
And sometimes I hit the spacebar too soon.. and...

I think so. The problem is finding him, sattions pick him up and drop him so often it's hard to tell where he is.

I could see how talking to him might cause vertigo to come to mind.

Someone has a tagline that says, "I can spell, I just can't type". I can write page after page with a pen or pencil and not make a spelling error. I type two sentences, I better proof it twice.

We were discussing similarities between us.
I had been asking him about after affects of
a concussion. It had been a while, but I still
had & still do get nasty headaches. My eyes
still jitter every once in a while & I still
have trouble sleeping sometimes. Thus, vertigo
came to mind. Not quite the same, but if something
comes to mind, I'll write it.

up ahead there's a fork in the road
a detour from the path we've been on
come down it with me
live and love in the moment
the fork is sure to soon turn
and we will be back on our old path
should we miss this opportunity
the road may not diverge again
let's take this chance
to experience something different
something wonderful
each other
