My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The apple of desire
lucious gold
born of friends
will flower within
sparkling soft rain
ending with winter's love...

Touch the graphic to hear Gordon Lightfoot
Rocket Fair
If I knew a rocket to fly
I would come for you in blazing colors high
and gather moonbeams in my hair
to line the dragon flies lair
and gather you in feathers soft
and then lift you off
to Venus and then to Mars
Countless numbers of shooting stars
unborn comets wild and free sparking fire
Like you and me...
From afar we would see
stars chase the blues and comets blaze
secret caverns, little coves
and angel bells on our toes
Charming the path for star lovers fair
Golden chimes in their hair
forever friends, forever pals,
true in heart, loyalty impart
on the path in dawn's wee hours
on winding steeps to lofty towers
kissing the hem of heavenly powers
and lighting star fires
and drumming on the dark side of the moon
seeing the cow run away with the spoon
If I knew a rocket to fly...

That's a song by the band 'Sponge'.
I loved the song, and had to share.
On that album, there's a bonus track tacked onto the end of 'Velveteen', and the lyrics are impossible to find.
Currently in a writing slump.
(Headache.. scrambling thoughts.)
But I did post some fragments of songs I've heard in dreams.
Songs that don't actually exist.
*head scratch*
I must admit that sis is better at writing it than I, and it flows more easily for her.
She can explain better.

"As soon as you two create this place, let me know where to show up, my bags are already packed!!"
OK, here's the deal. To do this, Samwolf and ol'Trike here, are going to need to get the word out. We need someone to set up the fund raising efforts to assist the project (Called 'America for Americans'oddly enough). So Snippy, thats you, (Sam and I know we can count on you to come through!) I will work with Samwolf to canvas potential inhabitants, and to generate the public release of our idea to our fellow Americans. Once your pulling in the funds,we can go nationwide and really build support. Thanks for all your going to do for the cause of Real Americans, (no pressure) ;^)

No pressure, just a better idea. We can make this happen quicker. I'm in a hurry to get out of this rat race.
How about Trikebuilder, that's you, and SAM just find a spot in the woods and start building a cabin, we'll start with the three of us and see if anyone else wants to come along. Of course, they'll have to find their own logs, land and men! Ha!

Actually I was writing at
5:00 sunday morning. That's
when I came up with my other
NINE haikus. Come 5:30 I was
so loopy I thought up this one.
I gave you my heart.
You sold it at an auction.
Now that's just heartless!
Now I can't think of any more.
*sigh wimper*

I was caught up in family stuff today but Jim Croce helped alot. Thanks! My favorite Croce song is "New York's not my Home", "Things are spinning round me, and all my thoughts are cloudy. And I had forgot all the things that were me...."

Thanks, I was suffering from a dry
spell until recently. It lasted a good
few months. Then random rhymes
just started surfacing again. Dormant
again for now...
