Hey guys, thanks for your well wishes. Jack is recovering from his mystery ailment but Sadie is starting to show symptoms. Poor girl. What a crazy weekend. We're trying to do some preventative stuff with her- pepto, bland food, electrolytes, etc. Even so, it might be another trip to the vet tomorrow. Ack.
Big'ol is no worse, thankfully, but he is flying to CA tomorrow. Hopefully the Benadryl will knock him out...
I did finally get the caulking done. Yaaaay!

I think chili is a nasty sort of meal, Well Jen.... I don't know what to say to that. You aren't from Texas of course. But, that's almost blasphemous here. It is the National Dish of Texas.
Oh, and I keep thinkin' about you. Pecans are falling now. Every time there's a little breeze they bash into my roof. Been waking me up all hours of the night. Little boogers bangin' on my roof even as I type.

Yeah, Pittsburgh isn't big on chili... the local cuisine around here tends toward pierogies. Personally I'd almost rather eat the chili.
My family tends toward either fairly bland English-German dishes, or Thai/Chinese dishes. Odd combination, but there you are.

Here, were got 2 kinds of food. Southern. And more southern (Mexican) It's all pretty spicy.

I don't know what this is! on no! it's a food I haven't met yet! yikes! Those are Polish/Russian dumplings (er... pastry). Sometimes they are filled with sweets, sometimes meat and potatoes.
