Sorry, I am not a wine and brie woman.
A seven and seven with a picked egg on the side would be nice.
giggle
To: Conservababe
I'm not into brie, but I've been know to consume a seven, without the seven. Pickled eggs? Never had one.

YOU are #6.

Goodness gracious, you must try a pickled egg. I take it that you do not live in the south. What the bartenders do is just drop boiled eggs in the gallon jar after all the pickled bologne has been eaten.
But, me, I have a more refined and tasty recipe for them, as I am not a lazy bartender.
And in cajun country, they serve pickled quails eggs. Some people, yankees usually, swear that they look like eyeballs.
LOL

Nice to see ya here with the few, the proud, the demented.

Nice to see ya here with the few, the proud, the demented. Are you sure you have the adjectives in the correct order?
Who are these gothic persons? LOL
To: Conservababe
That would be Darksheare, Darkchylde, and their parents...

Grew up in Idaho, live in California, in the SF Bay area. I'll have to try a pickled egg. I'm going to pickle some of my garden produce, so no reason why I can't pickle an egg.

I haven't been posting enough to get acquainted with the "gothics", but I'm willing to meet new people!

I guess I can pickle some eggs, along with the peppers, eh? I've got wax peppers growing in the garden, and thought I'd try to pickle them. I've never produced a pickled anything before, so this will be a little experiment. I am nothing if not adventurous.

Well, throw a few peeled boiled eggs into your pickled beets and you will have a treat.
To: Conservababe
How long do they have to marinate?

Oh goodness gracious, you need a good southern recipe for your pickling, I can see.
Will post tomorrow a good one, for sure.
Is it only peppers that you wish to pickle? All vegetables have their own pecularities as to pickling, you know.
LOL
To: Conservababe
I want to pickle cucumbers as well, but I have the best recipe in the world ( in my opinion, of course) from my mother. That's about it right now - maybe next year I'll see what I can get to grow in my garden patch!
