Not entirely accurate. His wife left him and he was very devastated. While Grant's comforting him (they were neighbors) to the extent that she left her husband for Gill is unscriptural and immoral, to accuse him of leaving his wife for her was inaccurate or dishonest.

Janis Gill didn't leave Vince until she found out about his affair with Amy:
