It was Clinton-like in its patronizing dishonesty and incredible narcissism.

In so many words: "We said we 'support the troops' (code for "we just hope they get defeated", but we'll pass over that because it's bad for record sales) - why are all these extremists unfairly picking on us?"

This ought to rank up there with Connie Chung's interview of Gary Condit as a rehabilitation attempt which backfired. They came across as really loathesome.

My daughter, in the Austin area, bought tickets way back, and now doesn't know what to do with them. $70.00 apiece.

There will probably be local TV coverage of any protest. If she doesn't mind possibly ending up as a center of attention, she could show up at the protest and either burn or rip up her tickets on camera.

Actually, more like the mental condition, "NARCISSITIC PERSONALITY DISORDER". Here is a description:

That was a good answer. I've never bought a Dixie Chicks album and was more or less unfamiliar with their music. Watching the show was interesting because these young ladies are used to being adored, and life has changed for them. I would describe them as ARROGANT.
