I love Vincent Brooks, the way he handled those idiotic questions was masterful this morning.
I loved the implication that if the reporters were unhappy with the info they were receiving, they could go somewhere else.
HLL, what about packs of peanuts or packages of beef jerky? What about cereal bars?
Too bad slim jims contain pork, they'd make a good portable snack.

More solid thinking there.
Does anyone know how to get hold of the Tom's peanut guy? Those packs would be perfect.

I usually see the route-man for a local jerky company here: I'll hit him up on the concept and see if they would donate to the good guys.
Thanks for the idea.

Packs of peanuts and granola bars would be great. Jerky is expensive but also a good idea. I wonder if they would confiscate Slim Jims because of the pork.
I really wanted to send over Jelly Belly's, but they are heavy. When you think about stuff for the troops, we have the consider the weight.
Saralinda and I thought that we could send overboxes of Peeps after Easter ( when they go half price ). Those are light and everyone loves Peeps. Maybe the troops can give them to the Iraqi children, but now I am worried that the Jedayeen will be using to children as decoys to ambush the troops.
On Sunday I will get jars of garlic powder and cajun seasonings. I think they would like that.
