Packs of peanuts and granola bars would be great. Jerky is expensive but also a good idea. I wonder if they would confiscate Slim Jims because of the pork.
I really wanted to send over Jelly Belly's, but they are heavy. When you think about stuff for the troops, we have the consider the weight.
Saralinda and I thought that we could send overboxes of Peeps after Easter ( when they go half price ). Those are light and everyone loves Peeps. Maybe the troops can give them to the Iraqi children, but now I am worried that the Jedayeen will be using to children as decoys to ambush the troops.
On Sunday I will get jars of garlic powder and cajun seasonings. I think they would like that.

What about coffee? My dad provides film for a lot of coffee manufacturers and gets samples all the time. Although, unless it was instant, I don't see how they could brew it. I know this sounds gross, but some people eat coffee beans straight up.
Also, I thought of protein bars, powder packages, etc...

I don't know Peeps, but I do know that Garlic Pepper has become a staple around here.
After an afternoon of shooting, I am fading into the sunset...
If you don't see me again tonight - tomorrow, with luck.
