Dixie Chicks Latest Apology (Waffles Like A Belgium)
03/14/2003

Statement from Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks March 14, 2003
"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American."

Too late! You waited too long to make what appears to be a forced and unconvincing apology. Your agent must have got to you and told you how much damage you have done to your careers. Who cares how much anti-American hate you found there! You are supposed to defend us, not join in trashing the Prez!!
On his national radio show today, Hannity just broke your latest records on air, saying he will never listen to you idiots again Nor will I. You are advised to stay in France or Belgium with the rest of the Euroweenies.! See if you can convince Alex Baldwin, Sean Penn, Madonna, Sheen, Garifalo and BS to permanently join you there. Take all of the rest of Hollyweirds as well!

"We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war."So she stills percieves a "rush to war". They are more like the Dipsy Bitches. I mean, she ADDED to the anti-US sentiment with her pathetic applause line.
Man hating little troll.

In other words:
"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel [but don't THINK] that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect [so long as he's a draft-dodging, pot-smoking, womanizing Democrat traitor]. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war [and I just thought I'd pander to it]. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother [let me capitalize on that blessed institution], I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American. [I'm just not proud that this Republican president is from Texas.]"

That's not an apology to GWB. She's saying the Office should be respected not the person in it! Forget it! Keep your piehole shut and take your medicine until real sincerity comes out of it!

I download there music for FREE!!! That way I don't have to throw away my money. If I like the artist/musician I will support them with my hard earned bucks. Seems that is the only thing they understand.

How can an apology make one more and more angry? She talks about exhausting alternatives, and about the "rush to war". We all are exhausted by the process of exhausting alternatives that W is getting us through! After 12 years of more exhausting diplomacy no less! And what's this business about the "rush to war"? She couldn't even find a conservative to write her apology for her? This is such a lib code word! How can more than 15 months be called a rush? We could have legally invaded Saddam as he violated the cease fire agreement that he signed. Instead we went to the UN and got a unanimous resolution that to any objective person promised war if Saddam does not comply fully. Now we are going for a second time to the UN! Where's the &**$##@ rush?

I like the Dixie Chicks music. I was particularly impressed with their performance of the National Anthem at the Superbowl; so much so that I bought another of their CDs.
I haven't watched TV for years so television celebrities don't bother me. Movies and music are another story though and it is distressing to be crossing one favorite performer after another off my list because I do buy so many CDs and DVD movies. Guess I'll go home and watch something by John Wayne or maybe listen to Ted Nugent while I consider the problem.

Sounds like a new item on the local Texas' menus... French Fried Chick...
The Crawford Dairy Queen will probably have it as a featured item for the hi-filuting New York press the next time George comes home...

BWHAHAHA!! "Grease 'em up, boys. First pig we catch is Miss Pork, Peanut and Pine. Whoa, fellas, seems this porker can sing, too. Squeal for us, sweetie."

"We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. Rush, hell. Still using the buzzwords of the commies, huh? How many years has this been building? Since she was in diapers, no less. The next apology will contain the word, 'unilateral,' no doubt.
