Send a message to coca-cola as you often see lipton drinks in coca-cola machines(doesn't coke own them, or do they have a co-marketing agreement). I also see Lipton teas in with coke products in the display cases in the stores and convenience markets.

Yes, perked coffee is better than drip. In making espresso, the water is heated to the boil PRIOR to being pushed thru the grounds. Water needs to be in contact with the grinds for 90 seconds prior to breaking the bonds that hold the caffeine and bitter compounds. A good cup of coffee must come from a device that produces it in less than those 90 seconds. I have a stovetop espresso maker that pulls this off. It's no more fuss than perked or drip.

I did purchase one of those double burner Bunn institutional makers that makes the whole pot of drip in about two minutes. That's pretty good but it does not give the flavor of espresso. A side bonus is the fact that I can make gallons of coffee in no time at all with the Bunn. We have fly-in breakfasts here at our airport and I am trying to figure a good way to produce huge volumes of espresso to serve a crowd. Should I succeed, I will be rich with a fruitful patent. Should I fail, I can be reached at the local hospital burn unit.
