BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Anti-Bush Tony Bennett can leave his heart in San Francisco and throw it off the Golden Gate for the sharks. Dang, I know how you feel, Doug - I feel the same way about Tony. He used to sing, "I Wanna Be Around" - to pick up the pieces, when somebody breaks your heart". What a great song!
Well, Tony broke my heart. Never thought he'd turn out to be such a jerk in his old age :-(

Looks like they blurred it out when he stood up.

I use to sing Barry Manilow songs just to watch my son cover his ears and run out of the room.

I took my daughter to see 'NSYNC several years ago for her birthday and I actually enjoyed their concert -- she loved it!

He got pushed into the MTV generation by his son. It turned him into an idiot.

I confess, I like Barry Manilow.

ROFL! Barry! My only concerts of note are Led Zepplin, YES, Jethro Tull (all in the early 70's. Late 70's Donna Summer, Poco. Since then it's been Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers...oh it's hell to get old. I haven't been to a concert now in 12 years.

viaCON told them to pipe down, they did so obediently Uh, that would make them pawns of the corporate world they despise. I wonder . . .

Faith Hill = The Musical Peter Principal.
Without the hype and hubbie, she couldn't get a job doing jingles.

I've never heard of Coldplay. But they're pretty good. I like their music, but after Chris Martins anti-Bush rant at the BRIT awards two nights ago, I will not be purchasing any (more) CDs from them.
Ill continue to listen to their music, though. There are ways (cough cough) to enjoy their music without paying for it. ;)
To: HennepinPrisoner
Chris Martin of Coldplay always wears a shirt that says Free trade. That's probably what was on hs hand.

Was it Barry Manilow or Neil Diamond that Murphy Brown had to use to get her baby to sleep?
