Sheryl Crow just on E-- she won best Female Rock Vocal, not given tonight. She said she was wearing a Peace bracelet- she said "nothing says peace like diamonds"- told that she has a lot of calls re: anti-War, not going to wear T-shirt.

Crow is singing tonight but at least we won't have to see an acceptance speech, barring a major upset in Album category.

The second comment was about Krall. As much as I enjoyed
The Look of Love I did not like
Live in Paris. Her rendition of 'Fly Me to the Moon' was especially poor. And that is my favorite tune.

"nothing says peace like diamonds"-
Yes, it is becoming the latest craze among Iraqi women.
To: ewing
she might not mind being bumped off-- her career might not have been able to stand another appearance.

She may have been coasting on the live album, I have heard other reviewers say the same thing.

maybe we could arrange a bunch of dead Iraqi children so they spell out Peace.
Hope I didn't give Saddam and the Human Shields (good name for a Rock band) any ideas.

Did you know Nora Jones' dad is Ravi Shankar ?? I think I just heard that. He's Indian, right? (Dot, not feathers.)

She has great music in her own right, but she is definitely
NOT jazz, she is more light adult contemporary.
To: RobFromGa
Well, that was mighty polite of her to spare us from her nasty shirt. Peace Diamonds????? Spare me Sheryl.
Norah Jones takes her first trophy of the night (of a possible sweep)-Best Female Pop Vocal Performance 'Dont Know Why'

was she bumped or was the line up tonight always the plan?
She could always pull a stunt during her performance.

Hey is there some way or some movement to counter what Charlie Sheen and his elitest goof balls are doing to try to screw up the computer system this week?
Yes, there was a thread. I'll try to find it for you.

Our CBS affiliate here in Atlanta (WGCL 46) is the lowest
watched station of all the big networks here, and with
programming like the Grammys, it's no wonder.

FREEPERS - MARTIN SHEEN wants YOU to CALL WASHINGTON 02/26/03 and TELL THEM WHAT YOU THINK!
This is the thread with links to their site. Sign up and tell the President and our your senators what you think. I did. I'm going to tell my President exactly what I think. I think he is doing EXACTLY the right thing for our country. Couldn't be prouder.
Sorry, I'm still working on learning how to link a thread.
