BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

It's NOT real music anymore.

Re:
Would be worth watching if a "hockey game" broke out amongst the participants.
With this crowd, make that a "horsehockey game!"

"They backed off of that. They are planning some viewers to tune in just to see the fireworks."I wrote to CBS, thanking them for warning me in advance that the Grammys would be a political rally rather than light entertainment featuring my favorite musical talents, and telling them I would therefore not bother watching.

"Faith Hill is staunchly pro US if I remember correctly." Yes I know that is why I said she would have to take her top off also because then it would be a show of unity and not just singling out the protestors!
See Faith won't wear an anti-american t-shirt so then she would not be asked to remove her top and then well it would be about the worst thing that could happen...
save for maybe spending eternity with Carrot Top!

The liberal hypocrisy is that when the firemen and policemen voiced their free speech and booed Senator Hillary at the WTC concert in their honor, their boos were replaced with CHEERS on See BS (and the other Viacom rebroadcasts on VH1 and the DVD).

Excuse me, but are you absolutely daft?
There is no way I am going to watch that crap, and nobody else should either.
In fact, I pray the Grammys gets its lowest ratings ever.
Maybe then Sheryl Crow et al will learn to just write songs (that don't openly slander major corporations) and perform music and keep their bleeping mouths shut.

I didn't watch the Grammy's when they were only about music, and I'm damn sure not starting now that it is the alternate Democratic Convention. I thought it was supposed to be the Wellstone Funeral PT 2.

Kentucky Fried Movie. I cannot find that anywhere on tape. It is a classic. Give amazon a try. They have a lot of used dealers listed who have this movie available on vhs, from what I can tell.

"...their boos were replaced with CHEERS on See BS (and the other Viacom rebroadcasts on VH1 and the DVD)." Wow, looks like Orwell got it right, he was just off on his timing by 19 years!

In fact, I pray the Grammys gets its lowest ratings ever. I'm thoroughly enraged at CBS - I checked their website and the Classical nominees are NOT LISTED in the Nominees section.
