BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Wimpy, you sure have been around alot!! Oooh! Don't say that! That has connotations...LOL!
All these concerts I've been to were either in Fayetteville or Raleigh, NC. (Except for Ray Price, which was in Jacksonville, NC.)
I just like a wide variety of music, that's all.

(Well it's good that you're fine and I'm fine. I agree with you. It's great to be fine.)

LOL - I am a big fan of the old Bruce Springstein. This music is alot tamer! If you really want to hear constipated you should hear his old album Darkness on the Edge of Town!

Again I will state my proven ongoing prediction - bruce played - bruce will win - whatever he's up for.
Coming up - trust me!

I totally and completely love, love, love his music. And I miss home too. It's about time for bluebonnets.

I saw Elton John at the Universal Amphitheatre in about 1980 in L.A. before the amphitheatre was enclosed. After being divorced for three years, my wife and I began dating again. I recall this being the first date. We had tickets in about the third row (which was covered). Elton played in the rain for well over two hours. There was thunder and lightning. It was an amazing concert. (And yes, we got re-married and lived happily everafter, most of the time.)

My very first concert was the Kingston Trio. I had forgotten that.

Nothing. I think he had one or two catchy songs, but he is tremendously overrated.

***Foo Fighters won...ICK...***
Tell me about it! System of a Down is much more complex and over more talented. I do like Foo Fighters, but SOAD should have gotten it.

Anyone know if that's Nils Lofgren out there playing guitar with Bruce? So that explains why the guitar was tuned to sound like Neil Young.
To: SwatTeam
Although I hate Robin Williams, I will give him credit...he's been overseas entertaining troops.

that is his trademark..Do you watch the sopranos?

This is really eerie - we're two hours into this thing and I haven't heard or seen one thing that's made me want to actually hurl, Durley's comment about being in "agreeance" about ending the war quickly notwithstanding. I figured I'd be twitching on the floor by now, completely stroked out from screaming at my TV.

Our poor troops having to sit through Robin Williams no doubt to get to the good stuff like the Dixie Chicks... I think he would be better off serving chicken wings at the USO tent afterwards.
To: Severa
I liked White Zombie too. My kids don't like the hard stuff so I have to listen to it alone, but my son likes "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. LOL Don't know where he gets it.
Sorry you were sick. :(
To: SpookBrat
Hey, yourself! You had to leave an Aerosmith concert because you were tired? Damn, girl, I don't think I would say that out loud, LOL! Steven Tyler is old enough to be your daddy. ROFL!
