Its positive reinforcement (via rewards for doing good things....) and stern reprimands...for being naughty...but mainly it's the repetitive training that is required....used with a deep stern command voice.

I guess we're doing everything right so far, then. I've always thought that consistency in enforcing the rules and in rewards and punishments is the key to training.
