So what is today's troll warning level? We already had one appearance by one of our returning contestants, but it was a rather weak effort IMO.

A GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
HOW good do YOU stack your fire wood tells a lot about a man. When I was but just a wee little tot my grandmother told me 'Toby, the way you stack your fire wood tells all what kind of a man you are'. Don't see much firewood stacking now but when I was a young boy, a lot of folks kept warm, cooked their food by fire wood. Some even had the true ice boxes that kept the food thus the saying 'he looks like the ice man if you ask me' when a boy was born that did not look like the daddy of the family.
Firewood. A lazy man will just dump his wood in a pile, no organization what so ever. A weak man would put it in a single pile, not lined up and would tumble down every once in a while. A so-so man would put it in rows two abreast but with not top on it. A good strong 'know where I am going' kind of man would stack his cord of word with the sawed ends or the neatest choped ends to the outside, looked as if measured with a runler, secured at each end, best cuts of wood that would be seen on the outside and, with a top to keep the rain off of it. The grass around the pile would be cut back and it would always be in a place where passerbys would see it. Now I ask you, how do YOU stack YOUR wood?
Strange how times were back in the old days, wood piles and today, how big the house is, how much the car cost, the clothes a person wears. I still like the wood pile measure myself.
Prayers for our troops and their families, for OUR President W, taking the bombardment of hate from the leftest world yet, he stand strong, on OU behalf, and for his wife and staff. Prayer for all of you who are in need of those special prayers and as always, fot us older folks who often times measure things a little diffent than you young folks, may God keep you safe. Have a good day, a real good day.

The nurse who prepped me for my upper GI scope yesterday has a son who is a Javalin Gunner in the 3rd Bde, 3 ID (Rock of the Marne) in Kuwait. He joined up right after 9/11 to "Defend his country". I told her I would keep Josh and his budies in my prayers.
We are going it alone, and that makes it easier than "allies" we can't trust. When this is over, all of those bastards who wouldn't committ need to be put on a list and not get a damned thing from us.

The left is believing President Bush is making more allusions to faith in his speeches and is concerned about that.

The left is believing President Bush is making more allusions to faith in his speeches and is concerned about that. I have seen six or seven articles on this theme the past few days. Must be on the DNC talking points o'day.

C-SPAN still has the Senate Republican Leaders Conference on its schedule, but that's not what just played on the network. It was a press conference by organizations in support of the Estrada nomination, not the Senate leaders...
Thanks Chair, for the flood warnings.
We were down in Louisville at the riverfront last Aug.
I really don't remember much of a levee there to protect the city from the river..
