Chair, I was just going to tell you about this warning. As I was listening to the G. Gordon Liddy show on a Nashville station, they interrupted with their full-warning system and read this warning. It wasn't until the very end that I even knew it was a test.
It was kind of alarming to hear the signals as I had no reason to think it had anything to do with the weather.

I remember watching the pelicans dive into the water in Mississippi. I don't know why our state bird is the brown pelican. I've never seen one in this state. Our state bird ought to be the mosquito.

This is what I was talking about last night - very heavy weather just finished, and now more is forecast for next weekend, but the weather service decides to go ahead with their "tests" for severe weather messages, despite the fact folks are a little on edge.
Not very good timing, IMO.

If Clinton gets the position as head of the UN, I can not imagine that someone will not assasinate him. Though I guess, technically, it would be murder and not assasination, as one must be a leader to be assasinated....Good God, may he NEVER be lowerd to such a position as Sec. Gen of the UN. Can you imagine if Emporess Hillary won Prez and he was King of the UN!! Gawd, too awful to contemplate!
Regarding sentence of 15 years for complicity in 9-11? How much judgement is the US storing up, how much of God's wrath is being pent up and being held back by His mercy, for the 4,000 DEATHS that occur each single day in the abortion mills of our bloody land???? It is not OBL we need to worry about, though of course we have the obligation to defend vs. him and his ilk. No, it is the Holy hand of a righteous God that needs worry us. No attack by Him can be thwarted. O Lord, have mercy....

No, I agree with you. I don't think I understood about that warning you posted last night because I didn't think it was anything that would be seen or heard by anyone except the weather geeks.
We're OK here, though we did get lots of rain (at least 6" I think). But some places are much worse off and just now recovering from the flooding.

I love the pictures I've seen of these demonstrations and posted one here when these demonstrations started up a couple of weeks ago.
I'm really wondering if there will be any other west African countries, former French colonies, that will find reasons to raise their voice against France. Senegal seems to have pretty good relations with France, but I wonder if this will turn people's heads there and make them raise a little protest.

Best (funniest) line from that thread:
If we let our dogs float on ice, then the terrorists have won.

I say if Turkey balks, then we will tell them we'll just use Kurdistan instead. If we support an independent Kurdish state, it will get under the skin of the Turks big time. They cannot get away with extortion.
