AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 760) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 19, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 02/19/2003 4:43:37 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Still a lot of snow out there, though it has melted down from 20 1/2" of snowpak to 17". More melting due today.

Donna Brazile lectures members of the Criminal Party yesterday, telling them they had better listen to Al Sharpton.

The left is believing President Bush is making more allusions to faith in his speeches and is concerned about that.

And Canada says it will not join in a "solo" (non-UN authorized) attack on Iraq.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

The Turks think we made promises in 1991, I think,if they helped us then, their tourist trade would improve and their trade with Iraq would improve. It didn't happen, and the Turks feel like they have been let down. Consequently they are afraid to let us add more troops and equipment to their soil, unless we make it worth their while.

Roomey was in Turkey in 1980 and saw whole families sleeping in the parks. Some of the populous was so poor that was the only place they had to stay. He told me it was a heart rendering sight. It broke his heart to see what some people had to endure.

That joker, how about the few billion people who didn't take to the streets. Superpower, indeed! A few groups of noisy rabble leaving their discarded trash on the streets. HHUHH!

Sounds like #97 is back in the "talking points" game, now that she's back in charge of the demoflops and dnc.

I actually just did (:-), then saw your post. I am feeling very welcomed and so appreciate it. I found the freeper sight back in the days that Drudge had it on his links. It is a daily fix for me.

Late to the party again! Well, that's my usual position.

Glad to hear that things are getting better for Daryl, Peg and the girls. Prayers for all of you continue.

I copied your story and send it to a number of friends. Everyone has been so appreciative and has commented on how true and comforting to know that God is our refiner and purifier!

We have news, weather, sports, trivia, cartoons - all in one place with a bunch of folks who love life and live it (because there are no reruns!).

I've learned the only way Beanie responds to a "no,no" is a soft voice and a smile. She has a couple of rugs that are in the living room, just for her. At first she was a little confused, 'cause she is an outdoor dog. She wanted to come into the house when it was very hot, so I put 2 soft rugs down for her to stay on, when she layed on the carpet, I'd just pat the rug and tell her "bitte come", she soon learned those two rugs are her property. She has never responded to an angry voice, she will look away, or if I'm around she will come and stand by me, so then we go through the "no,no" business and she learns. Soft voices, I've learned, teach animals easier than even firm voices.

He promised pensions that would follow employee from employer to employer, health care provided by the employer, free education for teachers, provided they taught school after college, (we've seen these promises broken by the students after they graduated) day care for all working parents, I guess so they could pay more taxes. I noticed his audience were all union workers. I couldn't stand but a few minutes of his harrangue. I almost split a seam when his son told give-away-gebhardt's mother wanted him to be a Baptist minister. How could he be a minister with the way he bends the truth and indorses abortion in all forms?

Greetings all. Till, you are correct about a soft voice. And consistant correction is VERY important. Otherwise, dogs become confused.

Tonight is a free-for-all for supper. I'm making some extreme (for the family) foods for my supper. LOL!

Oh dear. If 2-3 hours a day with my dogs is insufficient time, I don't think I'm up to this.

I am proud of myself, learned something today, put a slice of apple in brown sugar and it softens it up. AND, when you are going to put tomatoe products in a plastic storage container spray the contaniner with pam or some other non stick spray. Hows that!

I am off to watch a little TV and see what all is going on in this ole world. GO W GO!!!!

That's great, Toby. I hadn't heard about using a spray coating for tomato products on plastic. I'll have to give that a try. I just generally avoid putting tomato products in plastic containers.

Welcome to ATRW. There's a lot of prayer warriors on this thread, so if you have prayer requests, don't be shy.

OK john, what are you making tonight? I know whatever it is will be fantabulous.

Roomey is taking some tests so I can't feed him any red meat and some vegetable. I'm going to fry up some smelt and have a melody of vegetable that he can eat. When he has these VA check ups, I go crazy, cuz he can't eat this or that, and that is what I want to fix, it's a mental problem, I know. Tomorrow I'm going to do a pork loin roast covered with a mixture of curry, orange marmalade and lemon pepper with other spices, my combination. I'll serve it with rice and I haven't finished the menu yet, I'm still working on it.

Toby, now you tell us.....oil a plastic container before putting in tomatoes......most of my plastic containers are stained with cooked tomatoes of all sorts. Thanks for the hint Toby, I'll remember it.

Good everning till, john, everyone.

Wow! Brit Hume just played a great segment of a young man exposing the idiocies of the Leftist marchers last weekend. If this young man isn't a FREeper, he should be.

He interviewed various protestors, and let them hang themselves.
