I was talking to a friend on the phone tonite..she lives in Ill. and she said someone came in to the clinic and was saying the kick off is next week....no one but the President will know that and he ain't talking...yet...but the warning order is out to Saddam...."the clock is ticking".

I worry that the talking heads are underestimating the enemy. Not only are we not real sure how they will fight..( how can they be so sure the troops will run toward us with white flags again) but what will be unleashed world wide in terms of terrorist attacks. It is a frightening time.

Hi CG! The groundwork has been being laid for months.. we will have very little opposition, and even a lot of help from the Iraqi army. The UNinspectors have minimized the chance of chem attacks from loyal "repblican" gaurds. The oil well workers have no incentive to blow up the rigs... everything will fall into place in the next several weeks.

Yep, it's been gorgeous. The daffodils are up, my tulip tree is blooming, and it was 60 and sunny today. The wind was a little cool, but a nice wool sweater, and walking was very pleasant!
