I spent 12 hours in Philly waiting on a flight to the Gulf. We took a train in town in search of cheese steak sandwiches.. and I do remember how narrow the streets were and how close the cars parked together on the street. I am a decent paralell(?) parker.. but I need more than 6 inches from bumper to bumper to deal with!

I don't miss snow. I used to ski, a lot, and I do miss skiing. But I don't miss driving in snow, or shoveling the stuff.

I have to park on the street for the first time in my life... I try to give at least 18 inches as a courtesy.

That why I bought a snowblower .. one of the best investments I ever made

Luckily we have been getting snow in 3 inch increments...
Not enough to have to dig out of, but a pain for the morning commute.

So you do get a break every now and then... when will the kids reach "shoveling age"? It was 8 for me.

I was 14 before I relized shoveling the driveway was a chore and not an honor!

It was a Huck Fin thing.. My Dad also convinced me mowing the lawn was fun!

Me either...I grew up in Iowa....got smart and left....love to ski but can't now..:( but loved it! Nice to look at the snow from the freeway as I go by Baldy or Jacinto...pretty to look at, nicer to be away from if you can't play in it.
