I want to reiterate my comment about Sen Ken(drunk)nedy...he was being interviewed and was talking about how important it is we keep peace in the region and continue to negotiate with other countries...especially now with N. Korea heating up..and we need to keep diplomatic relations with S. Korea, and Japan, and all the "countries in Japan".

Do you think that Teddy has forgotten that his own father's political career ENDED after he, as ambassador to the UK in the build of the Nazi regime, made an appeasement speech? "We must not go to war, we must appease Hitler!" Really ticked off Churchill at a time that he was trying to alert the world to the danger. Apparently, it ticked off FDR too, because Joe got pulled back home.

As I was going to sleep last night, I had the history channel on, and part of the show, aired that speech of Ole Joe Kennedy.
